Either that or an enticement to keep him. This is gettin juicy.
 
If he signs with Ducati would Hayden then swap to Yamaha for a reunion with Rossi

It's a Hayden fan's wet dream. I don't think there's much chance of Lorenzo signing for Ducati, though.
 
If he signs for Ducati then it would obviously be for the money and not for the bike, as the Yamaha is clearly the best bike. If he cared about winning the championship and not the money then he would stay where he is; unless he realises he won't beat Rossi consistantly on equal machinery.

Why would he want to move to Ducati when the bike is known to ruining careers?! He had the option to move to Honda but let that one go why would he move to the most difficult bike on the grid? He has a good bike under him and the talent to get him a championship ... one day when Rossi isn't around. Stick with Yamaha or risk your career with Ducati? Hmm i know the one i would choose.
 
He`ll stay where he is if he`s got any sense.Only thing stopping him winning is that missing 1% of maturity ,imo.

Yea, he'll wait until Hayden and Kallio get the Duc sorted before making the move to Ducati, just would not make sense to move unless it's for money...and Austin your right sir, wet dream for us Hayden fans to see him on the factory Yamaha.
 
If there is any truth in it, then he is simply using it as another bargaining chip with Yamaha. After his recent crappy performances his chance to try and get more for his "value" has gone down, so by talking with a competitor or simply feigning it he is giving himself a little bit more to bargain with. He took a gamble with his "Honda talks", and if he would have had two good results, it might have paid off. As it stands right now, Yamaha could probably offer him a lower salary and he would have to take it.

Good point Sack,didn`t the commentary team say that Bautista has to pay for the damage after that `wheelie` (read WALLY) moment?Is that true?

emmm. i honestly have mixed feelings. stoner made the ride, not the other way round. the question here is would lorenzo be able to get more out of the ducati than stoner? I have a soft spot for ducati and if it means constuctors ducati would beat yamaha then i wouldn't mind it one bit. but if it means stoner got the most out of that bike then no. keep that seat reserved for someone else. like haga:) or spies:)
 
the only unconfirmed factory seats for 2010 are fiat yam and ducati. jorge has not signed with yamaha yet so that must mean he is signing with ducati right?

all it means is that he hasnt signed with yamaha yet. its just everyone wanting to sew up the contracts nicely so that we can concentrate on the championship again.i cant see him even entertaining the thought of a ducati seat just yet, no one with his options would...

It's going to be hard for him to win the championship being second rider to Val. Especially if things heat up with Stoner and Pedrosa next year.

If Jorge can mature sensibly ,then he has a fine chance next season,but like you say Sack,Stoner and Dani will be all that much stronger for sure.

i feel dani lacks the champion factor. he might end up on the podium but doesn't have wat it takes to be number. atleast thats how i feel as long as he's on repsol.
