Lorenzo will eventually retire? Who would have thought it.

I don't know how he will live with himself with 6 or more titles and having never accused a fellow rider of conspiracy, a practice I extremely doubt he will take up between now and his retirement, either.

But he will go down in the history books as the only teammate to give his brother rider a thumbs down on the podium and who complained that the proposed penalty was not significant enough. Lorenzo is too stupid to think about conspiracy theories.

Rossi deserved a thumbs down and his penalty was a joke.

Looks like Stoner will be coach for all Ducati riders. And something i didnt know,Stoner at some point was known as the Kangaroo Werewolf.

What will Casey Stoner in 2017? Catchphrase solved: the first and only world champion with Ducati will be the personal coach of all the drivers in red, including new signing Jorge Lorenzo.

COACH - CS27 will work alongside Lorenzo, following him from the track all season, a bit 'as it is doing Luca Cadalora with Valentino Rossi. But Stoner will not be exclusive of Jorge, will give his valuable advice even at all other Ducati riders, starting with Dovizioso coming to Pramac riders and other satellite structures. Special tester and supervisor, a commitment to "whole track" for the former Kangaroo Werewolf, an important role to bring the Red to two wheels at the top of the MotoGP. Stoner is already fully operational in this role. It 'was in fact himself to push the candidacy of Cristian Gabarrini as chief mechanic Jorge Lorenzo is convincing Luigi Dall'Igna, Director of Ducati Corse, the same Jorge. Stoner brought the technician with whom he won the World Cup in 2007, a man who knows the "" Ducati method, or a different operating system than any other team in MotoGP.

WARRANTY - Gabarrini, Marche Senigallia and a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Ancona, Honda is now in orbit as the crew chief dell'arrembante Jack Miller, the very young Australian who in the recent Grand Prix of Holland celebrated the first MotoGP victory. calm, serene, always rational, Cristian is the right man to better manage the tensions that could get between the exuberant Spanish rider and Ducati top if not arrived in a short time, the victories and who is most desired pushed the Bolognese house in engaging the World champion. A perfect choice, that of Stoner. Since winning coach.
Fins case: Luigi

Cool your boots Talps

Rider coach is being a total cop-out.

Should put his money where his mouth is and show how it is done.

As much as I would love for him to return I do think he out his money where is mouth was when he jumped in the official test after one day of practice and posted the fastest Ducati time despite being on the older bike(IIRC) and not having ridden a GP bike for over a year.

Testing doesn't mean anything at the end of a day.

Do it in a race because that's what counts.

Plus you'd think after that 8 Hours of Suzuka debacle, he'd like to actually finish a race.

Maybe if he wildcards at PI and it's another race like last year, that'll make him want to compete again. But the problem is now there's no available seats for him.

He was the Winningest rider when he rode and most of that time was spent on an inferior bike so I'm not sure how he needs to put his money where his mouth is. He hasn't said at any time that he could comeback anytime he wants and wipe the floor with the competition.

Stoner will race, he is taking his time cuz he wants to get it right and win, the most probable one right now is RedBull ring Austria,

Well I am really looking forward to Lorenzo on a Ducati. It will be the first time in a long time that he will have a real team behind him. I have faith he can adapt, he has done it before.

Good move from both Lorenzo & Gabarinni.

Lorenzo gets a championship winning crew chief & Gabarinni gets back to a factory team.
