As far as developing the bike goes, Suzuki are NOT wasting their time with Loris. They've had relative amateurs developing this 800 so far. A proven race winner with years and years of experience backing him up can only help them.

The way I see it going is that Capi develops the bike to the point where it is right up there with the top runners, but he himself doesn't get to taste much of the victory. I think we'll see CV and Suzuki benefit the most from this partnership.

I agree i think Loris could show Chris some stuff on how to ride on the dry

Pity about Rossi's tyre mind

take note those who say he is crap or past it,only a class rider would have 3 factory rides to choose from

Like i said before, i have lost my faith in Loris and would look elswhere if it was my team, but as long as there is still belief (from him and factory squads) then there is no reason he shuold stop riding. The large interest will do his head some good and i hope he can find his way to the front again.

Of course they have a choice, there are plenty of other good riders out there they could choose. They want Loris because he is a great rider who can still finish at the front, just look at Germany.
A new start at a new team, mightbe just what he needs to start doing that regularly again.

Wherever he ends up, it will be on a one year contract!

2008 will be Loris's make or break year! If he wants to extend beyond 2008 he better have a decent season unless he is happy to extend his career with a third tier team!
