1. Guintoli
2. Hoffman
3. KRJR

(Explination: The two Japanese riders took themselves out again, and Toni Elias took out the rest of the field).

1.- Rossi: 00=3rd, 01=3rd, 02=1st, 03=2nd, 04=2nd, 05=1st, 06=DNF but being first with engine failure. Nice record!

2.- Melandri: he does have a 1st in 06.

3.- Pedrosa: first go on the track with a Motogp and 3rd in 06.

4.- Eduards: ok, give him a break, has a 3rd in 05, and like he says “The best bike”, he’s worst than Puig himself with those comments. ‘Honestly’!

5.- Hopkins: is pushing hard. But could be Checa´s only spark of the year: two second places in 01 and 04.

Maybe Elias is on a mission to get another Honda down for a bet… who knows, hope no one gets hurt!

PS. Le Mans longest straight 0.45 km… No enough for Nitro to kick in!

So Jr… 3rd out of 3, right mate?

Rossi
Stoner
Hopkins

Riders on form. Rossi should put in a Jerez like performance. Casey will need to push early to stay out of trouble and not get pushed back too far.

Lots of hard braking means Pedrosas screwed in a battle, he wont outbrake hopper, rossi or stoner. The power advantage for Ducati may be negated, but I think Pedrosas weight advantage is also non existent here.

Fight for last place, between KRJR and Nieto.

Yes, you can

I still think Dani will do a better job than Nicky in Le Mans, but I also think we gonna see NH on the podium soon (or at least I hope so!!).

I do wish him the best, and I want him to win a race this season, but do you really think he's gonna win in France?
<

I've been sucked in by motogp.com media spin...

Death in the family can do funny things to the brain!

That's my prediction anyway. By definition does a prediction have to be what I think will happen? (eg I expect Rossi to win but have predicted the above)

Although it goes against everything I've posted so far about Stoner and the Ducati I have to say:

Ducati weren't far off winning last year.

1 Melandri Marco (Honda) ITA 44'57''369 25

2 Capirossi Loris (Ducati) ITA à 1''929 20

3 Pedrosa Daniel (Honda) SPA à 2''269 16

4 Stoner Casey (Honda) AUS à 5''494 13

5 Hayden Nicky (Honda) USA à 5''709 11

6 Edwards Colin (Yamaha) USA à 11''519 10

7 Tamada Makoto (Honda) JAP à 16''692 9

8 Gibernau Sete (Ducati) SPA à 18''142 8

9 Elias Antonio (Honda) SPA à 23''645 7

10 Vermeulen Chris (Suzuki) AUS à 39''362 6

About me predictions.

Well .. trying to think rationally.

places one and 2 has to be either stoner or rossi.
i'd place them
1) rossi
2) stoner
I want to put Hopper in third just for the hell of it and i know theres a chance he'll be on form as he was 2 weeks ago.... But i dont know. The new Suzuki engine that weve been told about could go either way in true Suzuki style... I still dont see it as a consistent bike as of yet.
Melandri doesn't seem to be performing brilliantly, nor does ol' man Capirossi. My man Vermy cant seem to pick the right tyres, but is in no worse position than the master of tyre choice Mister KJR.
HRC's 800cc package seems to have been through a few complete cycles of the ....... and then had some michelins slapped on .... and thats not doing them any favours either.
De ...... will probably kamikaze someone berfore the end of lap one adding another mark to his high points... and another mark to the tally of concussions.
So to cover my arse i'll put Capi-T-rex in for the final step of the podium just for good measure and the fact that i can't make up my mind.

there Tom

Thats a mighty fine effort!

This is definitely the hardest race to call so far this year, lots of people have a lot of interesting thoughts on it. I'm just desperate to see Nicky on the podium again.
