Killio also must have had his scooter taken away after warm up. He was probobly hitting people from behind with it. Levi, this guy? You wouldn't let us make fun of this ......? Thats okay though, I did get a few caveman blast of on him.

He would make a really good nascar driver. They love to hit it from the back.

Good point, but this raises another question: What if this situation (A works rider missing races) happens in 2010? This means teams will either have to poach an experienced rider from another team, or an MotoGP outcasts racing in Moto2 or World SBK surely?

There might be an exception for wild cards or replacements. That'd make sense, and it wouldn't make the rider any less of a "rookie" the next season.

The other question that jumps to mind is the interaction between the engine limit and wild cards. With ever-tightening restrictions on testing and engine limits, I wonder what the future holds regarding wild cards?

Other than Spies, all we had last year was Okada testing the pneumatic Honda and a couple of late-season Suzuki 'cards. 2007 wasn't much different, either. The vast majority of non-regular riders that we've seen recently have been replacements rather than wildcards.

Roger Hayden got a wildcard at Laguna in 2006 or 2007, can't remember which.

07. He was the top American. That was the year Casey caused Nicky & John to contact at hairpin.

And I bet that made your day mate....not!

At least Espargaro said sorry for his mistake. Getting a bit fed up of Krashio not being able to apologise.
