Potentially thrown his title chance down the road.
Possibly broken wrist in FP1 after the summer break with 3 races in quick succession. If it wasn't for bad luck he'd have no luck.

Fractured left hand. Out of this weekend and straight home for an op.
Hopefully back for next week.

this sucks.

I wanted to see him and Bezzecchi battle until the end for this title.

I wish Jorge a speedy and healthy recovery

According to BT Sports it’s one of the forearm bones close to where it meets his wrist and should be able to be pinned or plated. Hopefully he’ll be back for Austria.

It's always bad to hear that from any rider but when someone is fighting for the championship, that sucks even more.

To make that bad luck higher next round is just in a week

Let's see if Bezzecchi is able to take maximum number of points on Sunday

After watching the get off, it looks as if he was either wrist-pinned under the clip on or held on too long. Hard luck either way.

Absolute balls of steel. Great qualifying considering how much pain he must be in. Be difficult to sustain that for race distance though

1 point between Martin and Bezzecchi now. Let's hope none of the two will ever crash again this season.

I definitely lean on Bezzecchi's side but all I really want is a fair title battle :)

Bezzechi's problem is his waywardness at times, good rider but........ I still think Jorge will win the title on consistency.

I know Marco Bezzecchi and his family fairly well and I can assure you they couldn't be more far from being wayward :)

As per the title hunt bikes will matter as well. The KTM has an engine advantage that Bez needs to use in Phillip Island and Malaysia because I'm pretty sure he won't have anything for Martin in Valencia.

In which case he needs to translate that to the track as IMO coming in from 14th to 1st on a haphazard course, doesn't make champions.
Taking into consideration Jorge's form the last 3 races last year, I think he will be ahead of Marco in the last 2 races as PI suits the KTM better, but I won't hold my breath purely on the overall rider performance.

You do have a point. Martin is overall faster as of now that's for sure, but as long as I see a clean battle (no more crashes nor injuries and such) I'd be happy to cheer whoever gets this title, even tho like I said I am clearly rooting for Bez, ALL THE WAY :D

Hahahaha Martin's stuffed Bezzecchi and his team mate, 1st, 15th and 17th.
Guess its Martin's to lose now and where did Binder come from, I bet Aki is regretting letting him go.

What a result for Martin!:D

If he sits behind Bezzechi at Sepang, then he'll be guaranteed to win at Valencia imo.

I'm so bummed for Marco. Taken down by another rider for the second time in the last 3 races. F that.

Gotta say. Moto3 is the most exciting racing on the GP calendar. It's amazing. I'm supporting Martin, and all race I'm dreading he's gonna be taken out. Riding on the outside continuously he's just tempting trouble. He survived this one, I don't know how. Looking to see a straight fight to close championship. Neither rider being taken off track by another. Anything can and will happen in Moto3.

Congratulations Jorge, brilliant ride to seal the championship. Feel a bit bad for bezzechi, but we can only have one champion.

Both off to Moto2 next year.
