Johnny Rea man crush thread

I don't get it. What's soo special about this Johnathon Rea dude? He hasn't even won a championship even in the lower-level motorcycling series.

All hype.

Well he is kicking Aoyama`s .... As he kicked Xaus`s ..., and Neukirchner`s ..., and Checa`s ......

Always the fastest Honda on the SBK grid.

Not sure anyone gives a .... if you don't get it. Think HRC are probably best placed to decide if someone is fit to jump on Stoners bike or not.

They rate him highly.

No, Toseland was always ....., mind you, he still beat Bayliss on the oversized Duke.

It's kind of interesting watching the ebb and flow of talent from the UK. Now you have Smith, Crutchlow at Tech3 next year and Redding maybe (at Pramac?), Rea doing these replacement rides this season, while the past decade or so there has only been around 1 or none representatives from the UK each season. I'd like to see Sykes maybe get considered for replacement or wildcard rides, he's been turning out some great results on the Kawasaki in WSBK.

I wouldn't exactly call them 'talented', all the riders you've listed are only sub-par 2nd tier. The only rider that shows promise in your list is..... I'd say, Scott Redding. He's young, talented, and has loads of potential to be British's next best hope.

I was more commenting on the point that there happens to be more riders from the UK getting chances in MotoGP after what was pretty sparse representation from that country for awhile. Wow, thanks for your expert talent evaluation! I'm sure you can ride better than all them combined.

This is exactly how we get off topic and end up slinging pointless insults at each other. He at no point suggested he is better than the riders he is describing. If you don't like someones opinion, perhaps you shouldn't be posting on forums.

Is the man crush thread an attempt to guss which man will be crushed under Johnny's crashing bike next time out?

i'm just waiting for him to rock gps and become a great champion in either wsbk or motogp.

then i will have been the first and only one on here to have seen it coming and i'll be the ultimate authority on evaluating all things motorcycle.

a bit like BM,minus the obvious, and i'll travel the world and race on your purses.

go johnny!
