It's kind of interesting watching the ebb and flow of talent from the UK. Now you have Smith, Crutchlow at Tech3 next year and Redding maybe (at Pramac?), Rea doing these replacement rides this season, while the past decade or so there has only been around 1 or none representatives from the UK each season. I'd like to see Sykes maybe get considered for replacement or wildcard rides, he's been turning out some great results on the Kawasaki in WSBK.
I wouldn't exactly call them 'talented', all the riders you've listed are only sub-par 2nd tier. The only rider that shows promise in your list is..... I'd say, Scott Redding. He's young, talented, and has loads of potential to be British's next best hope.
