Just met all these guys at Indy.
Awesome cool group.

Here's a few random pics

So my story is, I got up at 5:00am to head to Indy sunday morning for the race. I roll into speedway about the time motogp warm-up is starting. I flag down a dude selling tickets talk him down from $125 to $60 park my car and start walking toward ims. So I text Jumkie ".... yeah! I hear um" the bikes that is and proceed in the nearest gate. Within five minutes my phone rings, I meet up with Jum, CK, and Clark. Where you might ask? How about in the back of pitlane. So now I have been there for 20 minutes, caught the tail-end of warm-up while standing right at the finish line, have met up with three badass powersliders, shook Nicky's hand and gave a pat on the back to valentino. I could have gone home happy right then. But, now it's time to go up to the vip suite who needs a ticket, bah! So needless to say I watched some great racing with some great people with seats that couldn't be beat. I still can't get over how amazing my time was, I was speechless the whole time. Sylviapearl, you really need to get over the anonymity thing you missed out. So next year I am in all ready. And I just might pay for vip this time around. Hope to see everyone again plus many more of you.

Looks like you guys had an absolutely fantastic time. Hopefully next year I'll have a bit more money saved and I can make Indy work for me. Thanks for posting all the pictures and stories, I look forward to seeing more.

Wouldn't you like to know. Some are obvious jums, ck, clark, gatorduc & his lady, and for the rest they will have to tell for themselves. I be's the one far right. If you could see my shoes I have those gay ... colorful nikes on in support of jorge.

I only got into to podium by strategically running with the other ps members. When we would go through the check points to show our pit passes I would position myself behind one of them and hold my arm out like I was showing the attendants something. Worked perfectly I just kept moving hiding amongst the crowd.

Pedrobot and Puig actually came out and played? That's one for the ages.

Well what more can we say, the pics alone show what a great time we had. More important than the pics is the observation that I never met any of these people before Indy (except for my GF, Jaime, and my hetero-lifemate, LeviGarret). We came from all over North America really, b/c ShovelHead is from Vancouver, MDub from Michigan, Boots from Idaho, and the three California boys, Clark, CaliKid, and Jumkie. Yet, this site brought us together and allowed us to enjoy this motor sport that much more. We talked about everything that goes on with the forum (often while laughing wildly), drank a reasonable amount, discussed photography, bantered about scoring ... and great motorcycle rides, got Jaime to take naughty pics, and made plans to meet in the future around other motorcycle venues. What a crazy, enriching experience?!! To be able to read these people's posts for the last few months and then meet them personally is sorta surreal, (forgive me for going overboard here....) but really a dynamic human experience. Thank you Powerslide and thank you to all of the above for making it such a fantastic weekend. To those of you that couldn't make it this year, I look forward to meeting you next time.

Great pics, Gator.

First of all let me apologize for not having any pictures, but as everyone who attend race can tell you im a lazy .......!!!!! I can honestly say i had one of the best times of my life. All the people we met and dealt with throughout the whole weekend where awesome! I got in friday night and met up with Jum clark and boots! after washing up! I met Gator Levi and Mrs.Gator. Once we hit downtown Red bull had a pretty kick ... party going and we chilled there for a while but ended up at the Jager party. That is when all Hell broke loose and imediately loved the crew i was with, The drinks and the shots just kept on coming it was great and we all had a great time. Around 5:30am saturday I woke up really thirsty! We hit the track around 8:00am. thats when we met the lovely ladys who were our host after touring the suite and grabbing our paddock passes we went out and about. after creating all guys of havoc messing with Peders Alberto and my new dad Carmelo we think we might get banned from any future Dorna events. On Sunday I couldnt have been any happier with the result lorenzo for the win and a big close on the points on Rossi 2 deangelis for his first podium and Nicky finally getting his podium on that Italian ..... named Ducati. I can die tomorow and ill have a smile on my face.

Boots- Solid just like at WSBK
Clarky- Solid Legitimate dude whos up for anything (plus we agree on Riders)
Shovelhead- kick ... guy and welcome to the forum
Gatorduc and Mrs. Gator- Please adopt me (you guys are great)
Levi- AKA Big Bough Kickass Burbon Drinking MOFO
Mdub- Happy you were willing to break the rules with us Hopefully you can make a whole weekend next time

Everything was great Hopefully i will be able to spend some more time with all you people in the future! And for whoever is crazy enough to join us on the next one please feel free to do so, but be ready to take some shots of Tequilla!!!!!

Man, I'm so jealous.. I can't get anyone I work with to watch races with me much less go to one.. So normally roll solo and end up meeting people at the track. I can party with anyone!

If I move back to the states...trust me I will be part of a meet-up...although since I'm more of a lurker than a poster...no one probably knows who the .... I am.

I went solo from Vancouver since my usual buddies were stuck at home with family business.
Met the Powerslide group at the VIP suite.
Awesome group
To be honest, this was way better than with my buddies.

Gotta organize a Powerslide meet for 2010 Laguna
