What a crew. How many powersliders can you name?

Great times at Indy!!! It was an Epic weekend all around and probably the biggest Powerslide meet up to date. Big thanks out to Jumkie and Cali kid for finding the killer VIP Suite/Paddock tickets and setting up all the arrangements! You guys rock. Clark, Gatorduc and his GF, Levi Garrett, Mdub, and Povol, great to meet all of you, thanks everyone for the fun times.

Wow, Indy, my first time there, and my first GP. Friday was great getting into the paddock, doing the pit walk and watching the awesome rider interviews. A little rain fell that day but fortunately the rest of time it stayed dry.

After Saturday qualifying we headed to the Indy Mile to watch some excellent dirt tracking. It was like a blast from the past, Moto roots. Rainey showed up, Kenny Roberts made a huge showing on his old school TZ750 and ripped some laps around the mile, even Rossi showed up to pay his respect to King Kenny Roberts.

Sunday was a perfect race day. SPOILER ALERT. Massive championship changes took place with Rossi going down. Huge victory by Lorenzo, he was on fire. De Angelis was also amazing fast picking up his first podium. And none other the home town boy Nicky taking the final podium, he was all smiles, it was so great watching him in person up there in the victory circle.

The Suzuki girls were really cool. One of the guys asked why they weren't walking around outside the paddock. Another guy said to them that they would probably get mauled. Then one of the girls answered "well, getting mauled is kind of our job."

This was really cool. We were walking around the area where the riders have their lunch and we spotted Jorge just having a bite to eat. When he was done a few fans came up and this father had his kid with him. (Look familiar, same little "....ies" kid). The dad was saying to his son "this is Jorge, he's a famous MotoGP rider". Jorge shook the little guys hand and then signed his shirt.

Wow! We had a great time, but, as expected, nothing close to this kind of experience. Thanks for all the pics....great stuff, as usual. Maybe next year....I'm still kind of hung up on that "Internet Anonymity" thing that someone else mentioned in another thread.

Until I get over that... I'll enhance our race experience with all of this stuff...I feel as though I were there. Oh wait...I was.
