<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (chopperman @ Sep 3 2009, 01:53 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>now i reckon there is truth to this. When me ,jumkie and a few of his hispanic mate's all crashed the laguna pit lane . me the only 6 foot white man was the only one to get thrown out
<
<

They threw you out because only cool people are aloud in the pit. Its stated right there in the rule book.
<

You see, it doesn't matter what color or height you are, it only matters that you are cool.

It must be true. I had no problems. Of course I do suffer from the same height deficiency's as my latino compadres.

Great pics man!!
Hiroshi was cool, He was actually checking out a girl when we ran into him

Last night I went out with a few friends for dinner and drinks. I took my laptop to show off all the great pics we took. I started kinda early with a few tequila shots before din (of which Gator can attest). Anyway, I had my whole table of friends laughing their ..... off the entire night. Even had a few patrons from another table come over and ask what all the commotion was about.

I'd again like to thank off those people who met up with me. You are all great and I feel privileged to have met you. Reviewing the pics made me feel like I had won something, scary too because I'm waiting for something bad to happen, all good things never go unpunished. (BTW Levi, I had some Brandy in your name with a few friends last ight, and yes I let it sit for ten minutes on the rocks--I'm not a savage). Anyway, I better move on before I start sounding really ....

Well I had forgot about the following pic. After the race we were all buzzing around the paddock area waiting for the riders to come out. Which reminds me I have a nice sequence to show you guys of GatorDuc all up on Nicky's jock. Hahaha.

Well the Dorna camera crews where out and they snagged the best-looking guy they could find with a Ducati shirt (I know your first thought was of me, but actually that would be GatorDuc). Turns out they wanted him to send a message to none other than Casey Stoner!

Haha, check out Gator adjusting his locs like he's some kinda movie star. (Come on Gaytor, you're never gonna look cooler than Levi--haha check him out in the background looking like some TV executive).

8099:GatorInterview.JPG]

Gator got all into it too. He sent out a get well message so eloquent that it would make a dying man on his death bed be cured. Hell even Jesus would be proud, haha check out Cali Kid in the background. He was in such awe that he couldn't get that amazed look off his face.
8100:GatorInterview2.JPG]

Damn, I wish I could have got his words on tape. I can guarantee you guys this, when Stoner makes it back to the track, you guys owe Gator for that one.

EDIT: Oh ...., I almost forgot, I got interviewed too. But since I don't have a pic of it, I can't talk it up, but yeah I got to send Casey a get well soon kiss.

Yeah, yeah, and you've been a Rossi fan your whole life right.
<
You guys are nothing if not predictable. I can't wait for Rossi to retire to see which front runner you guys all flock to. I'm guessing Lorenzo or Pedrosa will inherit the Rossi Frontrunners.............
<

I'm guessing the Rossi faithful will wait to see who wins the first Championship in the post Rossi era. Then the great migration will begin. Today you guys hate Lorenzo, in 2011 you'll all be his biggest fans.........hide and watch!

And honestly, how could any MotoGP fan not yearn for a little more competition at the front; COME BACK TO US CASEY, for the love of God, bring an end to our suffering!! (that's what I should have said during the interview)
<

I'm continuing to enjoy this thread. Pics and commentary are excellent. I hope to attend a race in-person in the future.

And when you do, I hope you have the distinct pleasure of meeting people like Levi, Gaytor, Mrs. G.

But then again, you might run into these crazy folks

'Engine?" <Slaps Jumkie with a trout!>
So, are V4s more truthful than twins?
<

Jum, you're generally very articulate, but I think you're a little confused on this one.
<

"HONEST ..... - "from Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn, has been traced back to 1851, but it is probably much older than that. Originally it was probably an expression of sarcastic derision - 'as honest as an Indian.' But later it came to mean about the same thing as the British 'honor bright' or the American 'scout's honor' - a pledge of truth and honesty." From "Morris Dictionary of Word and Phrase Origins" by William and Mary Morris (HarperCollins, New York, 1977, 1988)."

FWIW, the above definition best matches my thoughts regarding the phrase.

Back in the day, the phrase was very likely a racist zing. Today, looking back through history, it's more than clear which side was responsible for the majority of broken treaties. I'd say the Natives have gained the moral high ground and I wouldn't call it racist, except perhaps in a good way.

<Sorry to interrupt the show. We now return the eager viewer to Bopper Wars.>

Jum, you got any more photos on the way? The Puig pic is priceless!
