Yea this was a result, Nicky needs results, plural. A factory rider with a top team should not get just 1 podium in 14 races of a season.

Being fast over one lap proves nothing to me.

But that race from Spies was impressive today, it doesn't matter if you had some track knowledge to ride in that would be useless anyway and he stayed in there with the best riders this season.

Good race, Rossi was silky smooth but Nicky didn't make it easy. Nice to see him at the front for once. Lorenzo was excellent, he seems to have learnt the wet reasonably well. Spies impressive again, but maybe not enough for a GP ride??? Dani's debut on the new tyres was fairly solid, but he'll need dry time to get everything sorted.

This was Dani's first outting on the stones. I could see why he had such a hard time.

I wouldn't say it was just the Bridgestones giving him a hard time. Little Dani isn't exactly known to be a 'rainmaster'. He just did a poor job, he should of been in the top five in my book.

Of course that is questionable

. He would at least, besides beat all his teammates, need to podium or win to earn a GP ride in his 3rd race in MOTOGP. Definitely someone to dismiss. He's had his chance.

How much time dose Dani have in the rain? Than compere that to Bens.

I think he's done really well and think he would by no means embarass himself with a full time ride, but the rumour is that nothing is materializing.

Rossi got a 5th after a whole winter of testing the Bridgestone tyres, i think it'd be a little unfair to expect Dani to do that on his debut.
