Indianapolis Moto Gp

I am trying to get some information on the Indianapolis Race Circuit, like the best place to get a good view, should i buy a grand stand seats or is there good viewing without seats and any other information anyone else could give me to improve my trip to the circuit.

Its not a good viewing track,you will be there for the sound and spectacle.I went with General Admission,i never quit moving at a race anyway

Its not a GP i would go to unless i lived in America because the viewing angle is .... as its suited to the Oval track.

Wow...Alot of replies of how whitty the viewing is gonna be and they haven't even finished cnstruction yet.....

I have tickets on the front strech but I will most likely not be sitting much!!!

Well i ordered my tickets yesterday we tried to get in the Penthouse B or E but couldn't, so we have bought tickets for Penthouse A Box 4, any idea what the view will be like fom here?

I am going to the Indianapolis MotoGP flying out Friday 12th Sept and returning Monday morning 15th Sept.

I booked my ticket direct with Indianapolis Speedway via telephone. Best seating is around Soutwest Vista and E block they say and looking on the US forums this seems to be accurate. This is a new venue for MotoGP and even the staff are not sure about viewing as the seating is really designed for oval racing. Soutwest Vista area is at the end of the start straight and should give viewing to the start of the first set of twisties I think looking at the new layout.

Ticket also gives you access to standing areas so you can have a wander around if you do. I did the same for Jerez in March this year but slept in a hire car at the track, this time hotel never will I sleep in a car again.

I paid $150 each for the tickets in Penthouse A then postage cost of $7.
