It seems that the rumors of a second USGP is heating up. If you could add or cancel a venue track in the current MotoGP season, which would it be and why?

I would add a GP in Brazil. Why, because the girls have great ......

Ok, seriously, I would add a GP at Miller Sports Park in Utah. Why, because it is a beautiful purpose built track.

If I had to cancel a venue track it would be Jerez, Spain. Already too many tracks in Europe clumped together.

I have a feeling I will be in the minority, and we will see Turkey, Qatar, or China, get the ax.

Yeah, no offense for Spain, but just have one for them and add another track in another country outside Europe.

We have immense lands here in the Philippines! Add one here!

Add one in Mexico… take off Qattar I guess, I would imagine dressed up in leathers in the middle of a Dessert cannot be cool! Nor for the fans in grandstands! I suppose they do have sht loads of $$$...

hahaha nice one Pirky! .... Kallio would KICK ...!

I wouldn't get rid of any!!! it's a long enough wait as it is now!!!

Adding extra tracks... it would be nice to have one in South America (Brazil or Argentina) and one in Africa (ie S. Africa). So it's really more of a WORLD championship.

Definately keeps all 3 races in Spain

I would cancel Valencia or Jerez because spain have to much GP there and other countries don't have one GP.

To replace Valencia or Jerez i probably i would chose one close of my country in Hungary or Greece (in future i hope will be a track in Romania) and i would add 2 more GP as teo says.
In South america i would rather be in Brazil then Argentina because Argentina is not safe country at this moment.
From Africa i don't see any other country ready to hold a GP then South Africa.

For North America if will have to be a second track i will choose or Canada or Mexico or a rotation for between Canada,Mexico and US (one year in Canada , one year in Mexico, one year in US and so on)

I'd rather not looses any spanish races as they are amongst the best of the year, and i do not agree with all this "one race per country" crap.

Eastern creek sucks .... But i would definately be ditching Assen or China and heading to Suzuka straght away. It is nothing short of wrong that the season doesn't start there anymore.

Also maybe like Brands after some safetey improvements

Okay Eastern Creek may suck ... in your opinion, but Suzuka's safety sucks ..., there won't ever be a GP race there again unless there are some massive changes.
And that is doubtful considering the amount of land they would have to purchase to accomodate for sufficient runoff area. The current owners don't want to sell-up and they supposedly don't have enough money for the upgrades. Its a shame really, but it all comes down to a few stubborn owners.

Isn't mexico in the middle of a desert?
<

I'd get rid of Valencia, the racing there is ...., sorry to the Spaniards, but it's true.

I WANT Welkom (South Africa) back, the circuit was awesome and the racing was awesome, something which Valencia lacks.

I thought Welkom (brands hatch on its side) had issues because the surface was outragously bumpy every year, and it probably didn't bring in enough money either.

Add Brazil at Jacarepagua and Africa at Welkom

Get rid of Qatar and Valencia

Possibly add a better veue in the middle east, maybe in Dubai.. in this case a night race might be a better option with decent floodlighting

No, it isn't. Mexico is a big country and has very diverse climates, from tropical to desert.

And by the way your OPINION of the racing in the Valencia circuit is just that, you can't say something IS true or false just because you like it or not.

No way loose Jerez, are you guys nuts?, it's up there with Mugello in my view, the last third of the lap there is amazing. KJ has a point in Assen but there's too much history with that place and it's always good racing there.

I say get rid of Estoril, what a dump.

I'd definatley get rid of Qatar if one had to go..purley cause of the fanbase, or lack of them. I mean having 5k visitors across the weekend isnt too great.........and half of them were probably UK oil workers (I know they had to draft in marshals).

Turkey has to stay, period! The track is awesome and the racing has there has been superb..............4 bikes into the last bends anyone?

loose Jerez?? are you people ........?? thats one of the best trackes GP has!..

I say get rid of ALL THE TRACKS.....
start running MotoGP stricktly on OVALS only!!....

that way all sister banging red necks in the states will dismount their family members and start paying attention to MotoGP...THEN, when they're all piss drunk on Coors and Pork Rinds....

BAM! bring back all the GP tracks back!!

...US RATINGS TRIPLED!!!

No mate, Mexico in the middle of a dessert is like saying US in the middle of one too because Las Vegas Nevada is in the middle of a dessert… I mean only 2 complete states out of 32 are desserts, most of the rest have a tropical constant weather all year long, we don’t have a great difference between summer and winter, even practicing any time of the year could be all right. So bring a GP to Cancun, close to me!

And loose Assen, WOW! “The Cathedral” is the only one that has been there since 1949, and most riders called it like that, it’s explains itself…
<

It would be a shame to loose the Cathedral, but afterall, they have ruined it, so there is no point in wasting time just because its "traditional"

Dumping Portugal is a pretty good idea, it is a fairly rubbish venue. Jerez is certainly one of the best races of the year, dropping it is certainly insane.

As for Valecia being "like one of the oldest ones" you must be confused Krazy91, it was opened in 1999, it is actually one of the newest circuits.
