I THINK THE MOVE TO THE 800'S WAS WRONG. I LOVED THE 990'S.
HONDA WERE A MAJOR FACTOR IN FORCING THIS CHANGE THROUGH AND BECAUSE DUCATI HAVE MANAGED TO PUT TOGETHER THE MOST COMPETITIVE PACKAGE THEY SHOULD NOT BE SHOT FOR IT.
DUCATI HAVE MADE THE MOST OF WHAT IS LEGALLY AVAILABLE. THE OTHERS ARE PLAYING CATCH UP.
I DO AGREE THAT ELECTRONICS ARE A MAJOR FACTOR AND THINGS LIKE TRACTION CONTROL MAY SLOWLY TAKE AWAY SOME EXCITING ASPECTS OF THE SPORT, BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY, ITS STILL THE DUDE WHO WANTS TO KEEP THE THROTTLE OPEN THE LONGEST THAT WINS THE RACE.
