Well the season is really over, so what do you plan to do until the first day of spring? It's been snowing where I live, so I've reluctantly started my seasonal ritual of forgetting/denying that motorcycles exist. If you're like me, you've put your thing(s) to sleep, or you aren't and have a cold bleak winter ahead, or you live in a locale of no seasons and you'll be taunted year-round by women of high taste and low persuasion (and will waste money which would otherwise be next spring's Sumo or Litreblitzer [schnell Scheißekopf!] or Speedcouch).
I'm a little new here, but I'm struck by how short of a memory pervades the posts here. If a bike is slow at any given round its engine is "consistently uncompetitive" / "total ...." / "doomed to be the coolest hunk in the crusher". What awaits our discourse in the months to come? Assuming nobody has insight to spew about Rossi's test past the month it occurred, what will we do? For those who ride, (we) share a desire to do the things we want to do, despite being too slow or too afraid to realize this fully, how will we pass the time for the months where our release is most concretely a fantasy?
