Marq Marquez is a talented and a very good rider. How do you think his result in 2013 season?

MM (Midget Men) will play shot gun to each other until 1 has a clear order from Honda

Meh, I am more interested in what evil dictator he resembles most.  I like to think he resembles a young Genghis Khan.

My personal dislike of Marquez and his 'golden boy' status clouds my judgment. I do not necessarily stand by my vote, but he will not win anything this year.

I'm always skeptical of the 250/Moto2 riders when they come through the ranks, I wonder how long it will take me to warm up to Marquez. i hope never. :D

I don't know how I feel about Marquez yet, I'll decide when I see him racing, but I have a feeling he could be one of those riders you love to hate if half what I've read about him is true.

He is a very good rider, and he has the best equipment. He will probably be 3rd in the standings at the end of they ear if he doesn't start punting more riders off the track.

Oh Lord! Posts 2-6 haha good .... boys, curvy. Andy, Pigsh, Mdub, Lexi, bravo bravo. Haha u guys had me rolling.

Ok, here is my take. U heard it here first. McMarquez will not be a dangerous rider in 2013. Marc my words. He will do well.

Funny thing is Jum, I said he would win, but I was never game enough to take that step and say "not dangerous".

We'll have to bet a beer on that for when I do get over there.

I think he will win but he WILL spend some time in the naughty corner

I think he'll behave until he really gets a feel for it then he'll ruffle some feathers (feathers "sniffle" I want cuckoo back)

I think he'll do pretty good.  Top 3, and if stars align closer to the top.  I hope his obvious brain farts in Moto 2 are a thing of the past.  GP is extra serious and I think Nakamoto and HRC will have focused on this part of his preseason preparations.  His riding talent is obviously above that of the past years GP rookies.  Being on a top team with a top bike should ease wins and a possible tittle bid.

If Dorna, Ezzy, or the behind the scenes powers that control GP racing have seen in Marquez the future and the future champ, then props to Marquez and his family for putting himself in that position.  I think that in GP he will be much more accessible to the international market in terms of public appearances and hope this will show his personality.  Here in Spain he is not at all seen as the petulant, arrogant golden boy it seems he is seen as here on PS, and an international level.  That spot is reserved for JL around here.

I'll stand by my previous prediction. I think he'll win 3 races but I think he'll bin it 4 or more times. Rossi will be ahead in the standings due to constancy. That being said, his initial test times impressed the .... out of me. I don't think I'd be overly surprised to see him crack top three. Rossi has really just been a pile of .... the last couple of years. We'll have a much better idea on Wednesday or so. I think MM's placing has more to do with Rossi than MM.

I don't know if I'm really saying anything here, I'm kinda drunk. Well really drunk.

I think he may win one race but I doubt it. He will be on the podium 3 or 4 times is my guess.

I realise he is a talented rider, but he has never raced against riders the calibre of Lorenzo, Pedrosa & Rossi before.

I think 2014 will be the year he steps it up. 2013 will be a tough initiation but he will do pretty well anyway.

yup... i think he will do the same as lorenzo in 2008... fast but (sometimes) "too" fast ......

2013 will be a lesson year for him.... he will win a few... but he (might) will make a "rookie" mistake as well...

Pedrosa better win this year...otherwise he has to look another team for 2014 season...

This little pipsqueak just turned into superstar! :2:

lol :D

He will win a few races ,out of top three (4th) , but from  '14 he will make championship course (go for the title i mean ^_^)

I believe the 250's were a better place to hone your skills than Moto2. The last rookies that really made an instant impression were Pedrosa, Lorenzo, and Stoner. All riders with an excellent two-stroke track record. I'm sceptical about how quickly he will be settled in. On the other hand, he's got one of the presumably only 4 rides capable of winning. So, Pedrosa-2006-ish, I suspect.

4th....he wont be consistant enough to get to the top three, we all know who they are, but he will be fast.

I think i am one of the few who like marquez.  He is an ..... the way he rides sometimes but he is exciting to watch on track.

Curve..you never changed, eh?

Welcome back 46.  We need more Rossi fans around here, Goaty and Curvy are one of the last ones. The site has lost its balance.  Anyway, yeah Curve hasn't changed a bit.  And that is one reason why I'm still here.   I wish a few of the old timers came back.  Frosty, Richo (remember him?)  Austin, Somedamnwriter (remember Jane?) Bikergirl, Baldylocks, etc etc.
