I don't think there's any chance of Sete going to SBK, he'd rather retire, so his options are D'antin Ducati, Kawasaki, Tech3 Yamaha and Ilmor.
None of these options are very tempting so the retiring option seems the most likely now.

I've always belived Sete is a brilliant rider, his results in Practice and test sessions show that, however, he dosen't have the mental toughness to be going up against a guy as mentally brutal as Rossi. I really like Sete, but his weakness is basically that he's not tough enough, and he lets things get to his head. It's a real pity, I guess we'll never know how great he could have been
