Rumours rumours rumours...so many people are made to believe them. We've just had a rumour that my well of been false about Max Biaggi and i'm not saying this is also false but it's that time of the year now where idiotic rumours are made.

However I do think Stoner as performed very well this season, although he's been in the gravel trap more than on the bike.

I don't think he can handle a beast such as the Ducati, 800cc or no 800cc it'll still be very powerfull and he's still yet to master his LCR Honda yet.
 
Well for the future maybe it's best for Ducati, because Sete is old and has now a lot of bad injuries.

IIRC Ducati has dumped the big-bang engine for the 800cc bike, a combo of a radical peaky power output engine and Casey Stoner is maybe a bit of a risky bussiness.

Though if I was Ducati's boss I would have signed Checa for one year because he is a good development rider and next year get Casey when he's more experienced.

It is surprising that Stoner left LCR. Stoner and LCR progressed through the ranks together. I guess LCR is having trouble finding big sponsorship; maybe their future is unsure?

NO WAY! You must be fooking joking! ... i seriously thought stoner had more sense than that.

IMO. this move will not be good for him. Yes, yes, its a factory ride ... but that kid needs a Honda. and Cecchinello! ... this is almost equivilent to Rossi leaving Jeremey Burgess. The rider and manager work so well together ... why the f would you throw that away!

like i said, i thought stoner had more sense than that and i dont think this is a good move ..... but then again i didn't think his move up to the premier class was a good descision either.

Good for Casey....I hope he can learn from Cappy....teach him some old school tricks like Rossi and Cap use to push real hard....also, the Duc's budget better be big if Crashy McStoner keeps up the horizontal mombo....

Hey, check out that Eurosprt article, it says LCR said bye bye to stoner, and that Stoner is "set to" join Ducati, followed by a bunch of arse kissing by Stoner. Nothing from Ducati, nothing signed, nothing on paper. Until hard proof appears, my take is LC fired him for crashing too much, now Stoner is trying to kiss Ducati's ... to get a job next year.

Well was on Italian TV last night that after putting Gib out of the race Rolling Stoner also put Gib out of a ride for next year. In Italy it seems to be pretty confirmed and accepted that Casey will be on the Ducati next season. Which is cool. I know he falls a lot..but hey...at least most of the time he only brings himself down. Let's not forget what a disaster Gibernau caused in spain. No matter how much Casey crashes, what Gibernau's little stunt cost Ducati, Capirex, Melandri and this championship overall is impossible to calculate.
So good luck to him!!!
 
Be carefull, I still have a bruise for joking about that crash... Sete has some secret fans around....
