John Hopkins got to do a track day at Cadwell Park before the traditional August Bank Holiday meeting. The Mountain is always a great place to watch bikes getting air at speed. Still remember a guy from my childhood leap over The Mountain, when he landed the chain split and wrapped itself around the riders ankle!

John mentioned this at silverstone yesterday. He said that a few of the tracks here in the UK are like motocross tracks to him. Also said that he was now looking forward to that race.

It's the first time I'd met John - ace guy.

Josh Brookes (Aus) HM Plant Honda CBR1000RR



Rea and Brookes, both motocrossers, are the best I have seen over the Mountain, biggest air and longest jump.

I'm pretty sure the Red Bull bike is a 1000 as I dont think Rea ever raced BSS. Great pics anyway though.



Karl Harris was always awesome over the mountain too. 1st pic here is a 600

I stand corrected, it is a 1000. I started becoming a fan of him in 2004 when in BSS, just messed up my years, don't think my memory is as good as it was.
