KTM is apparently the sticky wicket regarding updates to the concessions system. The Austrian manufacturer needs two additional bikes on the grid to fulfill all of the promises they've made to their riders. Dorna and the other teams were hesitant, but KTM is holding up concession for Honda and Yamaha until they get their bikes.

Unclear if KTM will succeed in getting two bikes or if they will be satisfied peeling away one of Honda's satellite teams. Maybe Dorna will give them a new entrant? Difficult to say.

Give them the 23rd and 24th slot on the grid ffs.
Did Suzuki forfeit those spots when they withdrew? I'm curious because supposedly the teams own the entrant positions, and Suzuki did say they hope to return some day. Pons is shopping his spots around in Moto2 due to possible budgetary shortfall, I read.

Maybe I'm stupid, but I don't understand this at all.
I would have thought that Dorna would be the ones begging for new entrants to MotoGP. Alas, I realised I'm very wrong.

I am in the same boat as you Saffa.

It still sticks in my mind about the money Dorna pays to the satellite teams, ie not in their financial interest to add another satellite team
