Nicky boy should wake up to reality. This is motorcycle racing.

Exactly! Nicky and Dani should hold hands, run down the paddack, and bake cakes for everyone, I mean its not like Dani cost Nicky the championship! Oh wait........ he did

no dani didn't. lose hayden the title.... he had a 51 points lead... and had only 12 left... anyway rossi would have gained once more point on him... and defeandeing a lead like one of 3 points......

and he could still fight and win it ...

Well Hayden's right to feel all 'hurt', but let's not forget this is simply what happened to Valentino when Elias took him out in the first race of the season. If it had happened to Nicky any earlier in the season then nobody would be making all this fuss about it. Nicky had a huge lead, but while not wishing to take anything away from him let's not forget his lead was built up while some of the top players were recovering from the time Gibernau decided to play dominoes on track. Had Capirex and Melandri been fighting fit all season, that lead would never have been built up. Ahhh...but that's racing...everybody around here claimed over and over again. Valentino fractured his wrist. His tyre gave out in China..his engine died in Le Mans...Oh, that's just racing, everybody piped. It's about time Vale got his share of bad luck. So...let's cap it all up. Yeah Nicky was in the lead. He was consistent. And, let's not forget it, his ... looks damn fine on that bike (irrelevant, but still a point I'd like to make
<
). But what, really, was the competition? He's scared Vale will just 'follow' him in Valencia. Well..he should know, seeing that's exactly what he would do. We all know how good he is at following, rather than leading. So now Nicky's fallen, and yeah, that's just rotten plain bad luck. But it's also racing. When you put together all of Vale's and Nicky's bad luck this season, not to mention Melandri who I feel could have been the one real serious contentder to Vale's championship aspirations, it's still Vale who comes out on top in the points right now. So good luck to him. If Nicky deserves this championship for consistency, then Vale bloody deserves it for sheer bloody mindedness and for having the kind of fighting spirit that no one else in MotoGP seems to have.
So now we'll all sit back and wait for the best final race of the season we've had in years. I, for one, am delighted. There was an interview with Vale on late night Italian TV yesterday. He looked relaxed and laid back. All of Italy seems to be thinking that Dani's way of 'helping' Nicky will be to take down Vale. I don't think Dani took out Nicky on purpose. Just let the kid be. At the beginning of the race yesterday he was still in with a chance. Slim and remote, but not zero. Had someone else taken down Nicky and Dani stayed in the race, it would all be really different. All this drama's just because the accident involved two team mates. And nobody seems to have noticed Elias won his first motogp in a desperate bid to retain his place with Gresini. Well done Toni. Pity hardly anyone noticed...

I don't think anyone is denying that this isn't something that happens in racing but I do think it churlish for all the Rossi fans to say that Hayden doesn't have a right to be annoyed.

Dani took him out with a silly and impetuous move that would be annoying if by someone else but by your own team mate is unforgiveable.

Yes he may have lost points over the last few races but they only served to set a final few exciting races. Dani has denied us this excitement and because of this ALL fans should be annoyed that the chance of a potential nail biting finale has been diminished. Yes Hayden could still win if Rossi fell off but no one really wants that and I'm sure we all would have liked it to go to the wire.

For all people's grumbles about Rossi's bad luck, it is this very bad luck which has lifted this championship, more than any, above the boring, Rossi dominated tedium, that the championship was becoming.

Finally it would interesting to see how Rossi fans would be reacting if Edwards had deliberately taken Rossi out.

The season ain't over and allready was so so exciting...

Do you consider that dani had deliberately taken nicky out?? you got to be kidding me, no?

I ain't going to add nothing more to what i've allready posted here or on other topics related to this hayden drama.

Oh no one more thing: Let's all keep hands toghether and sent the posittive energy to hayden so he might forgive padders and wake up and fight vale on track....

Well If Dani is in a Championship winning situation next year. I hope Hayden takes him out, and as they are picking themselves up out of the sand trap I hope Hayden turns to Pedrosa and says "Payback is a .....".

I think Dani fancied HIS chances at the title.
If Dani Won in Portugal he could have Mathematically had a shot at the Title in Valencia. He went for the Win and when he got passed twice, he lost it and took out his team mate. Through frustration.

It's taken Hayden 4 years and a lot of Blood sweat and tears to get to where he is. It does however make Valencia THE most important race in Haydens life. Dani has to play team mate in Valencia, his Home track and HRC need a 1 - 2 for Hayden to win the title.

It can be done and HRC have finished 1 - 2 this year already, but
Do I think that will happen, NO!

I think we'll see an 8 time world champion crowned.

I don't think Hayden can beat Valentino in a 1 on 1.

To be the best you have to Beat the Best.

Judging by that video posted byYamahamer-AL it looks as if Pedrosa took him right out on purpose because Hayden over-took him rougly and banged into him which made him lose time. If he did do that then i'd kick him right out of teh team if I was the Honda manager because that was selfish and purely idiotic as Hayden has done nothing at all wrong; I don't care how "good" Pedrosa is.

I have to say that after viewing the video, there is NO possible way Pedrosa thought he could make that corner. NONE. I didn't see the race, just the incident. From the rear of Nicky's bike, I could tell that Pedrosa was WAYYYY to fast. Then, he tightened up the corner and tried to stuff his way in.

Deliberate take out...very well could have been. At the very least it was an attempt to gain a position on the track at a time and place that it never should have been attempted.

Deliberate? I think tha sounds a bit far fetched. Remember, it's Pedrosa, not Lorenzo. I still think the evidence points to a braking mistake coming into the corner, like Pedrosa said. He never intended to pass Hayden there at all, he just lost control of the bike, went in too fast and Hayden was in his was. Terrible, ......, god-cursed luck, but not deliberate, IMO.
