Actually Jumkie and I were sort of hoping he wouldn't be back on the Duc next year.....2013 will just be another long agonizing year I'm afraid.
Don't you guys have any faith in Nicky being able to develop the bike? According to Jumkie Rossi can't develop a bike so maybe Nicky will be able to, even though Nicky said he hopes Rossi stays so they can fix it.
Perhaps with the risk of losing Rossi getting greater Ducati have decided to put some continuity in the bank just in case?
Or... With one American leaving the series the people behind the scenes are pulling a few strings to keep Nicky around

Rossi and Nick arent the issue... its Professor X not implementing whats being asked for.. I wish someone would roll his ... off a "Tuscany" hill. .... him.

That would be re-signs. Resign is to quit. Big difference. You had me thinking Nick had told them to piss off and
had gone off to WSBK.
I thought it was resignation too, bit of a shock when i saw the article and realised it was re-sign!

I agree, just wanted to hear what they thought since one of them thinks it's not professor X lol
Cal has been offered a contract @ factory Ducati & Hayden has been re-signed. I think it's fair to say Vale wont be there next year regardless of his "It's too early to make a decision" statement.
I'm glad Nicky is staying @ Ducati. I think they will do well developing around him. If they could get the tyres to last race distance they would already be a hell of a lot closer than they are.
The new Bridgestones are doing them no favours.
