Iannone is probably going to get hit with penalty points under this joke of a system even though that move should warrant a back of the grid start in Assen.
 
Iannone reminds me of Simoncelli the way he has riden this year. Too much air gap in the cranium I think.
 
Good ride by both riders. I guess Lorenzo can blame himself for being back with Iannone, but 5th looked his best result.
 
So Lorenzo gets a DNF and Rossi schools Marquez at his home track. JPS and Jumkie will be writing walls of text to try to discredit this Rossi victory. They're absolutely furious now.
 
Great last few laps. Shame about Marcs mistake but like Mugello it seemed like he was really having to override that bike to keep up with the Yamaha.
Have Lorenzo and Rossi ever had 2DNFs by this point in the season before?
