but if he does return. good for the fans who haven't seen him live yet! i'll def be attention Bahrain or Abu Dhabi GP if he comes back.

Yep, Schumi is no Sete. So Pls do not compare the two. Further the rules have changed a lot with slick tyres (in which he has considerable experience). He might be serious in his comeback as I read that he had got anew machine to train for his neck, the older one is now being used by Nico Hulkenberg (William's driver)

Donningtons fooked Bernie NOW Turkey.? There.s a credit crunch on

The Turkish Grand Prix, a relative disappointment to date, may have come to the end of the line as chief executive Bernie Ecclestone decides to double the price Formula One Management gets from Turkey to $26 million. The government will decide whether to accept the hike or not

Bernie Charles Ecclestone, the chief executive of Formula One Management, has doubled the contract price of the organization’s Istanbul leg.

If accepted, Formula One Management will extract $26 million from Turkey as of 2011, instead of the current $13.5 million.

Seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher is to return to Formula One next season to drive for Mercedes, according to reports.

The 40-year-old German, who retired in 2006, has agreed a $10 million one-year contract, the German newspaper Bild reported Wednesday.

Schumacher will join compatriot Nico Rosberg at the former Brawn GP team, who were taken over by Mercedes at the end of last season having won the constructors' and drivers world championships.

Rosberg, who signed for Mercedes shortly after the final grand prix of the season in Abu Dhabi, told German newspaper Stuttgarter Zeitung: "I have no idea if it (a comeback) is true or not, but if he did join that would be an absolutely fantastic move."

Reigning world champion Jenson Button left Brawn at the end of the year to join Lewis Hamilton at McLaren, while Rubens Barrichello signed with Williams.

Schumacher, who won five of his world titles with Ferrari, attempted to make a comeback for the Italian team last year in place of the injured Felipe Massa, but a neck injury sustained in a motorcycle race thwarted his return.

Rumors have been circulating for several weeks that he would return instead with Mercedes, where he will be reunited with team chief Ross Brawn, who helped to him to his string of titles at Ferrari.

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo told reporters at their Christmas lunch last week that Schumacher had revealed to him he was close to a return with Mercedes.

"I hadn't spoken to him since Abu Dhabi but I spoke to him on Wednesday," Di Montezemolo said. "He phoned me and he told me that there is a very, very, very strong possibility [of joining Mercedes] "

Schumacher, who has acted as a consultant with Ferrari since he retired, will be ending a 13-year association with the famous marquee, but with the returning Mass and new-signing Fernando Alonso in their line-up for 2009 that route to return was blocked.

His aborted 2009 comeback created worldwide interest and he said then that abandoning his plans was one of the most disappointing moments of his life.

But Schumacher has worked his way back to fitness and was put on an impressive display in the Race of Champions exhibition in China in November to underline his readiness for a new comeback.

I'm putting my money on Schumi getting his ... kicked by his teammate.

I knew it all along. Schumacher only left because he was afraid of Kimi Raikkonen, he wasn't ready to retire when he did. Anyways, it would be interesting how he fares against Nico Rosberg who I think is faster than Kimi Raikkonen, and deffinately has more passion.

Calm down pal, I will bet on Schumi vs Rosberg when the bet is available on bwin, I will get much better odds than betting against you.

BTW Don't think it's a really smart idea to go around writing your account number on public site in internet.

The Master is back, and he will kick arse!

French court overturns FIA life ban sentence. THE FLAV IS BACK!
<

He will only get 15.000€ instead of the 1M € he demanded as compensation.

Well it was about time a REAL court put some sense into this. Hopefully now that Maxxx is retired there will be some proper ruling and not just stupid infantile vendettas going on in the FIA.

And finally Alonso in rosso Ferrari!

BTW FIA appealed the Flav resolution (typical F1), so that's not over yet.

LH split up with the ..... Cat doll (not surprising we all knew LH's true love is Ron Dennis and vice-versa).

Schumi meanwhile is going to start testing with a GP2 car ...

Testing is getting closer by the day and i for one am extremely excited. Before we start racking up Schumi vs Lewis vs Alonso etc we're gonna have to see who brings out what car wise. I find it hard to believe that RBR, Mercedes, Mclaren and Ferrari will all produce cars at approximately the same championship winning level. Sureley one or two of the favorites will be on the back foot from day one.

Also things don't look as good as they had done for some of the new teams. Virgin and Lotus look as though they'll fight for top newcomer, but i would have said that anyway. If Campos is falling appart as rumoured will we see Bruno Senna getting on the grid by some other means? Second seat at Renault perhaps?

You would think rbr and mercedes have a fair chance of having good cars given the track record of their designers, if they have been able to devote sufficient attention to their 2010 cars in the latter part of last season. I have to confess to not even knowing who is currently designing for ferrari.

I agree completely. The brawn car had a huge advantage in development time compared to the others going into 09, also they and RBR were fighting and developing until the death of the season. This could work against them this year, but as you said their designers records speak for themselfes. I also realized this winter that i know nothing of who's ideas are making the red cars, and their level next year is something i wouldn't know how to start predicting. They do have two extremely good drivers though so i'm hoping they get it right, although i primarily want to see British drivers prevail and hope that Schumacher gets equipment at least good enough to not be perceived as holding him back
