Dovi is probably wishing he had a CRT next year after watching Rossi v RDP in quali

All this talk about forward momentum and Ducati actually constructively realizing any changes based on rider input reminds me of the shitload of wishful thinking (mine included) that accompanied the announcement that Nicky had signed way back when. Unless Audi somehow grabs the reins to force dramatic changes - Ducati will continue to plod along dicking around with the same lack of innovative thinking that's held them back for years. It's like expecting Albert the donkey to turn into Seabiscuit. Don't hold your breath boys and girls.
Ithink this is so true' ducati won once when it was the fastest by long way then stoner spent 2 years crashing alot and moaning till he moved on ..........Ducati is still a heap of .... best thing Rossi is doing leave them to it .Dovi you have made a big mistake 2012 you get on podium 2013 i think not your on a donkey

It seems that Moto GP is leakier than the Titanic these days.

I wouldnt be surprised if Ducati has a Honda moment in wanting to crush Rossi after the departure.. could you imagine if he figures it out, and/or ducati really put it all together.. i'll be rooting for him

Ducati will be going back to square 1, the problem from which they started -- how to beat Rossi (plus now Lorenzo, and Pedrosa) and the mighty Japanese.

No more wild cards like Bridgestone and Stoner to play though. Instead, a European automotive giant giving some high tech help, and a very likeable all-nice-guys team with Hayden and Dovi.

Mission impossible?

Mission Implausible

Andrea Dovizioso sucks. Nicky "The Kentucky Squid" Hayden sucks.

Ducati sucks. What a sucky azz team for next year.

For the next year or so definately mission impossible.

Nicky and Dovi are not on par with Rossi, Jorge and Dani. Dovi will not beat Nicky on the Duck either so they don't really have the riders or the bike, and certainly not the perfect storm that was Stoner and the red bike......The Furwasawa int is fairly telling for the engineers in Bolonga, as many suspected, they are lost. As a result the updates promised at Laguna, or any updates have failed to see the light of day this season.

.Ducati need a major revamp and they will now have the white hot spotlight removed from their proceedings to spend time developing, Audi will probably not be as motivated to funnel millions into the Motogp project now, but moreso into product lines and a general clean up like they did with Lamborghini etc. Dovi will be paid well to bobble around then move on to wsbk.
