Haha, you wish bro...come to think of it I wish too

But we are stuck with a crappy taped version on speed, or you can do like me and wait for someone to throw up the torrent of the eurosport version but that usually takes about 6 hours to download. Anybody want to loan me $135 bucks so I can get high def motogp.com coverage.

Now I'm not saying this WILL work, but it might. The BBC website streams all classes live, it's supposed to be only available to the UK. However I have heard (not about moto gp though, other streaming stuff) that if you set your pc clock to UK time it will work, because the site registers what country you are in by the pc clock.

Sure you'll have to put up with the old men commentary, but if you're desperate to see it live it might be worth a shot...

As I said, no guarentees though.

The stream link will be here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport...kes/default.stm at race time.

I know but their coverage is terrible, they cut out parts of the race for commercials and ........

More likely that they screen by ip range, as they are assigned on a country by country basis.
To get around that you will need to find a proxy server in the UK ip range, and hope that the BBC don't have that server on a banned list. I think that with a bit of work you should be able to find a proxy that will work.

BBC are desperate measure mind, there commentary is some of the worst i've ever heard.

Obviously the ideal situation is to try and find a live stream from Eurosport but that might be very hard to come by.

Easy there Noodleface. I never considered that speed would show the race live because they never have (and I claim that without doing any research). Are they going to show the race in its entirety or cut about half of it out for commercial breaks? And almost equally important, are they going to feed in the eurosport commentators?

We might have to put up with it soon. There are rumours Dorna want to stop Eurosport showing MotoGP so they can get a larger target audience.

That will definitely be a bad move, unless of course they hire the Eurosport commentators. My wife can't stand to watch the speed version but she actually gets excited about the eurosport version. i can't put a number on it but if spee would show the eurosport version they would definitely pick up a larger viewing audience. I don't think that I have heard the BBC commentators and I don't write off anything until I've tried it.

(edit: my post is little contradictory from beggining to end but I freaking love those boys from eurosport and can't see it getting any better)

No SPEED does show motogp live but they seem to cut out at the worst times!!!!

AFAIK, it was only for Laguna Seca (actually it was on ABC or Fox) and the ridiculous commentary made me wish I had the regular Speed broadcast, even if it was delayed. None of the other GPs were shown live, were they?

Eurosport now have exclusive BSB coverage in the UK too - wooo

Phleg, I seriously dont think that Dorna would EVER drop Eurosport - there would be a revolt for one!
