Ducati claimed another victim

Too true, only a real .... would have a go at his team mate. Such things never happen in Motorsport. Oh wait a minute............

This is what Lorenzo needs to do. I hated all that smiling and clapping happy JLo of 2017 looking up at Dovi on the podium. That is not who he is. He is a big .... in a whole field full of ...... Time to get the gloves off, sharpen the nails, and fight like a ...... Because we all know he doesn’t have a bail out call to uncle Calmelo does he?

In other news, Rossi quit Ducati, but has the move backfired big time? He hasn’t won the elusive 10th on the Yam we all thought. I pose the question, if Rossi was on the 2017 Duc woulda coulda he been the champ? I say yes, he would of challenged for sure, and winning the 10th on an Italian bike he fixed woulda propelled him into undisputed goatdome. Shame that eh Migs?

I would tend to agree with you. But according to the Valeban, he did win a tenth in 2015.

"The people's champion"

I love how no topic on this forum can be about anything other than its Rossi's fault...you do all sound like the MAGA hat wearing blame Obama for everything wrong or that happens in the world that you don't like....not surprising really consider both group line your hats with tin foil to keep minds closed....

Jlos is trying to act like Rossi did when Jlo was beating him....and how did that workout for Rossi....he ended up at Ducati with no chance of winning a title again....

Jlos options are limited so maybe he should let his riding do the talking not his mouth... It could be jlo already knows he can't beat Dovi and is just blaming one of the nicest most professional riders in the paddock for his own inabilities.....

Ambition outweighed his talent? Not the first, won’t be the last. Obama? Wtf try Malcolm Turnbull I’m not American. And Barry isn’t interested in sheep. That’s Newzooland. Lighten up Migs we all know Lorenzo is a ..... He learnt from the best. Casey God Stoner said so in his Bible ie autobiography. In other news was Rossi applying his patented mind games on Marquez in the post race presser Qatar? Talking all over him and lol he was. If so it’s worked well so far. Marquez looks positively devasted, almost Biaggi like.

"Dovi is very intelligent, isn't he?," Lorenzo said sarcastically in an interview with Movistar TV. "He basically knows everything.

"Dovi has always, during my whole career, tried to undermine my morale. And he's still doing it as my teammate, that's nothing new to me.

"He's always trying it, if you look at him. It's the relationship he has through the press with me. But it's all okay."

JLo is a .... regardless but that is ...... up. He looked like a defeated man all day today. Probably knows his contract has gone map 8.

You could really see it in the garage during FP1. He kept shaking his head. His eyes were those of a doomed man. Why wouldn't he take an offer from Suzuki?

This is a behavior we have seen from JLo before.

"Dovi has always, during my whole career, tried to undermine my morale. And he's still doing it as my teammate, that's nothing new to me."

Whats he trying to do? Beat you? They have been rivals since they were battling for the 125 title. No .... he wants to undermine(beat) you. No matter where he goes if they don't stoke his ego constantly, he will get bored and start blaming everyone. The saying the grass is always greener on the other side, basically sums up JLo as a racer.

Why do you dissmiss Lorenzo’s comments as invalid. Perhaps there’s some truth to it. You know what they say about the quiet ones. It seems that people are rushing to defend Dovi only because he appears to be a nice chap
It’s not like Dovi doesn’t have any reason to play games with Lorenzo.

On the flip side what if Lorenzo is the problem. That nullifies the debate that Rossi was the meanie that drove him out of Yamaha. Historically Rossi has got on well with teammates. Lorenzo, not so well.
There’s a lot at play here and people are basing their judgments on emotion and not facts

This to me is normal JLo behavior. Whether or not Rossi a manipulative .... is beside the point. Thats pretty much a fact by now. However show me one time where any teammate or sponsor had anything negative to say about Dovi. JLo finally ...... with the wrong person. He couldn't be more wrong and will pay for it.

I think Lorenzo will jump ship at the first chance. He sees his career going down the drain. He's not getting any younger and with Marquez getting stronger and smarter and Zarco and Miller looking better all the time - to say nothing of Dovi, who he regularly trounced in the 250 class, giving Marquez the best fights of his life, I'd say Lorenzo is freaking out as the train is leaving the station.

Because Lorenzo has historically been a kind of grim sourpuss as long as he's been racing. He was particularly arrogant and obnoxious in the 250 class.

While Dovi has, AFAICS never made a mis-step. He's always been a gentleman and seems quite genuinely humble. After all these years, that assessment has not changed. You know the old saying: if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it's probably a duck. Like with Nicky... I don't think this is something a person can fake; surely not for so many years.

Lorenzo did chill out (as a racer) after his first two seasons. But personality-wise, he still comes off as an obnoxious ..... And it's not just one or two people who perceive him that way. He's been described that way in the press and on many forums.

If Dovi had genuinely "undermined" him he would need to be specific in order that people would take this accusation seriously.

Re: the dynamic in the Yamaha garage, it's a given that tension would be present. Every rider ever to be on a team has espoused the sentiment that the most important person to beat is your teammate. And Rossi would have necessarily been threatened by a rider of Lorenzo's caliber and used any influence or advantage to make things more difficult for Lorenzo, such as creating a hostile workplace. Lorenzo's personality wouldn't really be of any concern to Rossi who had long enjoyed power and influence forming a comfortable cushion between him and anything or anyone that might lessen his confidence or sense of entitlement with regards to all things Yamaha.
