When they have the throttle/brake-o-meters, you can see that rossi brakes later, and also backs off the throttle earlier. I wonder if its a techniqe to go faster, or conserve fuel, or both?

I havn't noticed. Do you mean that he's just rolling off speed before he apply brakes?
If so, could it be a technique to settle the bike before real hard braking?

Maybe Rossi rolls off the throttle earlier so that all his fans can continue to argue on forums that he is only losing because his bike is slower down the straight!!!

2nd Pedrosa

Jonathan Rea to get a point in his 1st Gp ride and finish ahead of KRJR.
It would be nice if Rea could get a good result, pity he's on a crap bike.
1st - Stoner
2nd - Hoppers
3rd - Rossi

oh it's hell havin to work so damn much!!! 1. rossi 2. pedrosa 3. hopper 4. stoner 5. elias

i always get this wrong but:

1. Dani (more of a prayer than a prediction)
2.Valentino
3. Casey

if its wet, which im am fairly certain it will be, then:

1. Valentino
2. Chris
3. Dani

wont make any predictions to close to call I just expect it to be another battle with stoner and rossi around the front,

also what do you guys make of the recent comments of questionable overtaking by rossi stoner has said? Maybe Rossi is getting in his head?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (mjiv04 @ Jun 14 2007, 03:37 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Of course and no doubt it should be VALENTINO ROSSI , and i repeat VALENTINO ROSSI , once again VALENTINO ROSSI, and again VALENTINO ROSSI and aagain VALENTINO ROSSI

So, Valentino Rossi, in your opinion, will come first?

that a technique riders use in the wet,i think its to get the wheels inline before hard breaking.

i would just take it with a pinch of salt, stoner always was a bit of a winge bag

I just found it myself, but thanks anyway.
No doubt he is talking about Rossi going into turn 1 in front of Stoner.
Guess that's pretty scary when on the inside trying to pass. and expecting the other to give up and take the outside line.
