This is Rossi's favourite track, no long straights. The longest straight is only 560m so those Dukes won't get to stretch their legs at all. But, after Stoner's ride at Catalunya, does that really matter? It's very hard to imagine Rossi getting beaten at Donny however, it could also be the sort of track that will suit Pedrosa and the Honda.

Brave choice, i'd be surprised to see that.

Why is everyone convinced that all the Australians will dominate if it rains? Why aren't the italians in the mix, as Rossi and Melandri should be ahead of at least some of them.

Confidence plays a big role in bike racing and Stoner is riding a justified wave of confidence.

Funny isn't it that we Australia is the dryest continent on earth yet we are very good wet weather riders. They say it is because of the dirt track racing that is popular with young riders.

I am surprised that so many are predicting a Pedrosa win. Why are so many confident that he will win?

Because he destroyed everyone last year, won by about nine seconds. But I just think he needs to improve his braking if he wants to finish ahead of Rossi, Rossi brakes about fifty metres further down the track to Pedrosa

1st Rossi
2nd Pedrosa

Jonathan Rea to get a point in his 1st Gp ride and finish ahead of KRJR.

Me and Phleg have already had words about this, and naturally we disagree. I think experience pays.

hayden is a wish, for the sake of his sanity and his fans here on the forum, and predro because he is starting to look like a world class rider.

I'd really like to see Hopper on the podium this weekend. The last test was very positive and surely he is due for another good finish but there are some tough guys to beat.

Dry:
Rossi
Stoner
Hopkins

Wet:
Vermeulen
Rossi
Melandri (maybe future Suzuki rider)

1) Rossi

2) Stoner

3) Pedrosa

Nothing like the last race though, I reckon they'll finish with a couple of seconds between them.

And to futher cement my reputation as an ....., Edwards to take a shock pole position.......................

I noticed that. When they have the throttle/brake-o-meters, you can see that rossi brakes later, and also backs off the throttle earlier. I wonder if its a techniqe to go faster, or conserve fuel, or both?
