P.S. I've got one question. I know.. actually i've heart from local comentator mentioning a rule that: if you're motionless after a crash you're not supposed to ride for 8 days..and in F1 something like 14 days... Is this true?

never heard of this. ???

I've asked you folks because the comentators are sometimes speaking nonsense..and i was wondering if this could be true...

I heard that was just in F1, not motogp.

I think it was Julian Ryder on Eurosport. One of the few times i get to watch it on SkyTV round at my girlfriends.

Anyway, F1 doesnt have a "Dr Costa" who will patch them up and ship them out anyway he can!

didn't remember if this was said by our romanian comentator...or by the english one...i watch the race on eurosport...and can listen to both modes of comentary...

Yes, I do! He seems to have the bike working, knows he can run up front, plus REALLY motivated to get on the top of the box. I also think he needs to put in some solid results for the rest of the season to keep his Yamaha ride. While I am rambling, in my opinion Yamaha would be smart to keep Edwards for two more years due to his talent in bike development and as a well-respected tire tester for Michelin.

P.S. My opinion plus $.75 will get you a cup of coffee.

I think you're pretty spot on there ct. Yamaha do need some young talent but they also need someone around to aid Rossi in development. It all goes back to getting Tech 3 funded and strong riders again. By the way, I recognize your siggy from over at CE's site, I like it.

Thanks. You are right in that Yamaha needs to fully fund Tech 3 and develop the young riders there. The new young guns this year are looking so strong, in my opinion, because they are on already developed bikes. While Pedrosa is an excellent rider, the fact that he is on the RC211V, Micehelin tires, and is able to use the data accumalated over the last couple of years is making his learning curve easier. That said, I could certainly seee him winning the hole thing eventually. Now, if they could just make him sound like less of a robot.

welcome ctkell! well after the effort ce put in at assen, & if he keeps puting in efforts like that, i hope he stays. but if he go's back to 5th, 6th place, settle for colin, then he might as well pack it in for sbk. seems to me, with the exception of assen that is, that he just does'nt have that razor sharp edge. he needs to win a race for his confidence sake. & he needs it this year.

Couldn't agree more CT......he's riding argueably the most developed overall package in the game......that said....Colin is the man....you gotta love how chill that guy is all the time.....welcome man....

Yeah, Yamaha are really stupid if they think they have any chance of giving HRC a bloody nose with two riders. Blind faith in Rossi, that`s what it is. Theyre thinking, as long as we got him, we'll be ok. What a bunch of Valentiniboppers. True, while they have Rossi and theyre putting sufficient money into the factory team they will be getting race wins and championships, but Rossi isn`t immortal. One day, whether it`s in ten days or ten years, he`s gonna hang 'em up. Where will that leave Yamaha? Open for a good and proper flogging from a very well organised and kitted up HRC army. One of the reasons Honda is so dominant is because of their strength in numbers. Six and a half bikes on a grid of 19. Not a bad effort. Honda support thier factory teams, they work together, they`re the only manufacturer who`s currently capable of filling a poduim. There`s room in the Honda horde for fast race winners, fresh blood learning rookies, and advanced development veterans. Yamaha can`t match that with two bikes. At the very least they need to pull their fingers out and help Tech 3 become a competitive team. I ain`t talking about sending an engineer over to their pit every now and again to help them out, I`m talking about taking the team in under it`s wing like Honda look after Gresini`s team. Yamaha need to steal tech 3 from Dunlop and the back of the grid. I`m talking about Michelins, a decent sponsor, and semi-factory support like Gresini has. They need to steal at least one of Honda`s riders, or even better two, and while they`re at it another one bike satellite team to fill the grid. That`s the sorta effort Yamaha need to be puttting in to really square up to the HRC machine. All this faith in Rossi will only leave them empty and leaderless when the doc decides to quit the circuit and live off room service in Ibiza for the rest of his life.
Edwards is not past his used by date yet, he`s an asset to Yamaha, they need fresh blood, but it would be a blow to lose Colin too. Hence why they need more bikes at their fingertips. It works for Honda.

I predict its gonna be 28 degrees and full of fit birds in tight lycra
