Well i'm impressed, and i already thought he was pretty good. Hopefully he can continue like this and silence the doubters.

they ran 5 laps & then it started to rain. this means nothing.

He was quick in the morning also.

Given that the top 3 riders will almost certainly be moving up, Debon can consider Kallio and Bautista his main rivals. I think he will be on their level when it comes to racing.

hmmmm... we'll see. i have my doubts

An entire second faster than Bautista and only beaten by Lorenzo, i think he is worthwile.

Anyone like to comment on his race performance? It amazes me how one or two practice sessions suddenly make this guy worthy of a ride. If he'd stayed on it it looked as though 8th was about the best he could hope for.

What an awesome replacement.

Debon needs to sort out his racing head. In the first few corners he was jsut getting beaten up and then he was stuck mid pack from then until he crashed. He clearly has the speed but hopefully his mindframe can change in the remaining wildcards he does.

tom for someone who rags on all the "old men" in racing i'm surprised u rate debon so highly... he's 31 u know. i do believe that a younger hungrier rider should be placed on that machine.

If it was my decision, he wouldn't be riding it, however he has been confirmed and i'm not willing to write him off just yet. Sort of like how i feel with the Capirossi/Suzuki deal.

Yeah they should put another overhyped aussie there, right?

The only stupid ... here is yourself welcome to my ignored list.

You just called a New Zealander an Aussie... now thats a stupid ....
Ironically, Debon crashed in both the only two races he rode in all year... wow... is he the next Casey Stoner? (Oh, I forgot, no, Stoner wasn't on the best bike in the grid.. the Fortuna Aprilia is...)
