I feel like Chris Hansen should be monitoring this thread very closely (sidebar: Chris Hansen was the host of the insanely creepy show, "How to Catch a Predator". Where internet chatters pretended to be underage children, luring creepy old guys to their house for ..., only to find Chris Hansen and a camera crew, followed shortly by the police).

I'm game! I only live down the road!!!

..., camera crews, and a little bit of Regatta de Blanc in the background sounds good to me!

Probably; he's never really seen one up close.

No kidding.

I'm pissed about DOC, I refuse to pay more for a morning (or afternoon) at silverstone than i did for a whole day at donny, so not only do i skip the race now but i dont even get Day of Champs.

Roll on the end of the silverstone contract when I can begin to hope to go to the British round again.

Same here, not happy, won't be going.

lt was only a couple of years ago l paid £25 adult and iirc £12 for kids for about 5 or 6 hours in the paddock.

Now they want £40 for an adult and £25 for kids for what, 3 hours? ..........lol no, even if it is for a good cause.

Also the last time l went l didn't rate it so much, not many teams opening their garages up and over zealous stewarding imo.

yeah tell me about it! its well exspensive compared to donny, i went donny a few years back for DOC and it was amazing, most garages were open and most riders came out to sign stuff and chat, even had a 1-1 with lorenzo he was sweet.

just sucks that thats the only opportunity in the UK to get up close with riders

i agree, i dont believe Riders for Health get 100% of the money from those tickets anyway do they? and well, even if they do i'm afraid i cant afford to give it them anyhow, charity starts at home and all that, the donations at helpimapoorstudent.com are just not coming in at the moment...

seriously though, the prices are ridiculous.. Donny was awesome, i loved DOC there, the security wasnt that hot and i got to meet loads of the riders, even got drawings signed. im not paying to stand in front of pit garages in the cold hoping for a glimpse, i have better things to do...
