Dani Pedrosa another surgery.

The fact that hes doing it between races and at beginning of season prob means its not a major deal (in GP speak). But honestly, if that wer me, i would even want a paper cut before a race.

Speedy recovery to the midget. We need u healthy to give Stoner & Lorenzo a run for their money. We dont want to hear the 2011 champ won cuz it was a gift.

Routine to take the plates out, eventually in young patients anyway, once fully healed, but I am not sure why they would do it just then, unless they think it is contributing to the nerve problem, or increases the risk of re-fracture in the event of another fall.

Hope everythin works out...its sad the dude has talent but always has an injury to hinder his performance.

They have a few weeks til the next race right? I mean after jerez

I agree. Who ever said Lorenzon was gifted the championship is wrong. He slap all the the other aliens to get there...

Same thing should be said of who ever is crowned champ this year.

Now a quote from a medical source on ride on two that they think he has been compressing his subclavian (ie under the clavicle) artery and they hope removing the plate (s) will relieve this.

I think that it's his weight working against him. He's too small to get his weight as far back as effectively as other riders. Even at full arm extension he still doesn't seem to be far enough back.

More than anyone else his back tire hovers off the ground, and yet he's still being out-braked. I think he puts at least as much effort into braking as anyone else, maybe more. That's why he loses the front and gets injured. He's not known for high sides.

There are advantages to his small size, but I think this is a drawback.

I feel terrible for Peders. Like him or not, he's ridden injured a great deal lately yet still manages to post excellent results compared to his peers. He's pushed himself quite hard despite his injuries. This is bad news for him and for the sport considering the number of riders capable of challenging on a regular basis. I hope his issues are resolved and he's able to return and fight for the championship. He's fast and he's consistent, two things eluding most of the field.
