thats just some stupid childish fantasy from an mcn juro. of course both riders would say yes, they both now it would never happen.
how low will this rag stoop just to sell its bias crap.

Sheesh! grumpy old men these days.. Its clearly just a typical MCN bullshite article, but u dont need to be so down on life Rog, chin up
<

Itd be damn fun to see, i rekn the outcome would be kinda obvious (both struggling trying to learn the respective bike) ah well, its never going to happen, but its fun to imagine..

it would take far more than a pissant (get it
<
<
)like you to spoil my day.
but i agree. it is just a typical bs mcn story which is pretty much what i said is it not ?

As the black eyed peas would say; Where is the love? Calling me a pissant now? How times have changed! I really thought we had something going there Rog, i really did...

lost your sense of humor mate, you sure like to give it but cry to mumma when you get one back
<
. your always good for a laugh but not very challenging.

Back to the topic...if they were going to do this, they should just have all the ridrers do a lottery pick of which bike they would ride....everyone would be on something different, that would make it interesting.

Agree, this is more MCN bull.

Stories like this always come about when a rider blames his equipment for losing, but its obviously unrealistic.

i have a great idea....

seeing as this season has been quite boring, why dont dorna introduce another rule...

to liven up the next season, all riders will choose which bike they are going to ride on raceday by a lottery system...

still do all the practices and quali on their "own" bikes but race someone elses...(no setup changes allowed etc)..

<

must send that idea off to espeletza now..so they can implement it before valencia...

to be honest i wish mcn would leave motogp bee, they start ...... stories then other press people start spreading them.
why would they swap bikes ?? it would be fun if they done it during free time but saying about them using it for a gp weekend is ridiculous.
im gonna email mcn tell them they storys hold up like a bag of candyfloss and ill say why dont they write articles on mopeds instead of wasting electricity writing stories about motogp.

mcn are not saying this is going to happen or saying its being considered. this is just a jurno's fantasy printed in a paper with nothing of any importance to write about (nothing new there)

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE<div class='quotemain'>It might be pure fantasy to imagine a scenario where Casey Stoner and Valentino Rossi switch bikes for a Grand Prix weekend, but at least the world’s top two riders would be willing to give it a go.

Newly-crowned MotoGP world champion Casey Stoner and seven-times world champ Valentino Rossi were asked if they could, whether they would swap bikes for the final round of the 2007 series in Valencia next month.

This is exactly why people should perhaps have some sympathy for a young non-media savvy guy like casey. In what way can he rationally respond to a question like this which I am sure is not something he would have raised himself? I could envisage this being translated into japanese or italian and coming out as him saying he wants to swap bikes to show rossi he is better.

Some of the statements riders get slammed for are off the cuff remarks in response to when did you stop beating your wife type questions.

Thats a very good point. i think dani handled a media situation right a while back, he just walked off

Maybe the respective factories would let them do a few "demonstration" laps on each others bikes after the Valencia race is done & dusted?

yeah thats about 10-15 laps so by the time rossi hands the bike over the tyres will be gone and the bike sitting on its rims
<

it might be silly but it would definately get the viewers!!!!!

I think maybe Rossi's yamaha on Brigdestone for the last race is more possible and makes sense if he was to switch next season.

they could remove the michelin logo from the bike and have him wear no cap if he made it onto the podium as a compromise.

I'd prefer to see them both on the KR212V ... it would be more interesting watching them fighting for 15th and a single point!
