Has anybody here ever been to COTA for a MotoGP weekend? I think I'm going to attend this year. I'm thinking seats a T-12 or maybe the grandstands at turns 15 and 16. Any advice?

Oh man, that sucks for sure.
I've got to make the decision and stop procrastinating. I may opt for VIP tickets. I figure if I'm gonna do it, I may as well do it right.

Yeah, my experience at other GPs, totally worth it. At Assen, the Dutch are super uptight and over-controlling about how VIP passes are used for access to the paddock where the team housing and manufacturers hospitality suites are. Other places it's more chill. Do post if you end up for sure buying the tickets. I'm waiting for surgical procedure and expect to be well-healed way before COTA and very much want to go this year. Austin is also a great music town.
