Shirley as you well know that NZ is a superior sporting nation than an oversized overated Aussie. Unfortunatly our tiny little country does not have resources of Aussie to buy World Champions with the huge amounts they pour into your sporting instutions. We have to rely on the occasional talented person to come though and take a World Championship. It is well kown NZ boxes well above weight on the world scene.

Unfortunatly we do not have any great motorcycle riders, but in time one will be produced. We did how ever have a Motorcycle constructor who did take on the world and the mighty Japanese constructors and beat them, that is quite an achevement.

So my little friend, I know its tough for you Aussies at the moment losing most sporting events this year, but try and keep your head and don't get depressed, you could always just throw some more money at it.

We dominated SBK, just not MotoGP.

You can start talking about NZ when u guys get a rider Somewhere, Mabey u can use Chris Cairns. Resources? U have as much as australia but dont have anyone with good talent. Your one of those people who obviously has been very dissapointed at nz sports at some point and now they start winning a few. Good on them!. If NZ are in a final against another nation i would cheer for them being a close country, i dont think its the same case for u for australia Other than that go ... a sheep than an extra one for me. Well that surely attracted a couple of Aussie flies, its to bad you are so bad at other sport you don't want to talk about it.

I must conceed that we a little short in the Moto cycle classes here, we do have a couple of talented young guys who really do impress me but will never leave our shores I'm affraid, its such a minority sport here. We do alright in World Moto Cross at the moment, good chance at World Championsip there next year

But I must day we do have as much talent as you Aussies, We are 4 million people compared to 20 million, so I do think we are more fo a go ahead nation. Really I think its actually offical that Australia is the worlds worst sporting nation.

Losing 8 Rugby tests this year.
Losing to Bangladesh and even worse England at cricket
Netball worst loss ever
League - NZ kicked your arss in the final 24-0
Swimming - yeah other countries compete in swimming.
MotoGP - is really a minority sport
You can say you have a World Poker Champion though

Olympics are nothing short of pathetic 2 weeks of swimming heats, women's walking, sailing, sandpit jumping, 12 year old girls waving ribbons in leotards, fat roid ridden dwarfs lifting weights, and old ladies shooting archery. Please its so boring all minority sports.

You may have a list of Medals there Susan but I suggest you check out the medal count per head of population, its way different, You will find NZ at the top just behind Sweden

Racist stuff in Aus is not good but don't beleive what ya read in the press, Journo's are just over sensationalising it as per usual. I've got a couple of mates there, one got smacked over in the surf the other day before this trouble happening, and was told he was allowed to catch any waves cause they weren't his. Other mate said the Lebenese gangs there are the problem, walk down the street minding your own busness and ya get a hiding, or ya gf gets hassled. from what he said was just the community taking things into there own hands to put things right, now its got all out of hand with the media an White gangs coming in and getting involved. In my opinion if the cops were not doing there job in the 1st place there wouldn't be a problem, I'd like to meet the S/Sgt of that patch I bet he's a useless ......, (I'm an ex cop). I don't beleive its a racisit problem just a gang problem!!! Police have a problem these days too they like to blow things up as well to get more resouces and powers, and make things look good on Commanders CV's so it looks good for promotion, seen it all before!!!

Hey I use to watch old Muphy when he was learning at the local track here, we use to live close by and actually watch hime for a bit, use to think he was hopeless, but gee I respect him big time now after those 2 Bathurst wins that was top stuff, these days he's the ultimate professional, top kiwi that bloke.

Anyway mate have a beer for me on Xmas and look forward to some banter with ya next year.

I reckon martial law. Get the Reserves in there (That's "national Guard" to you Ooost) All the rioters, whether theyre aussie or Lebanese, are a bunch of ........., we should have had the Army in there maintaining order. It might not look good and people would complain, but thats the way to stop it today, not in 5 years time through social progammes. And thats what the public wanted. Deal with the immediate problem, then fix the socail problems.
The boys in blue obviously didnt scare them, but the boys in green sure would.

Hey bit of an over reaction the Army, socail programs that won't work.

Just needs some good old fashion police work, just keep tipping out the gang cars, its easy thats all we use to do when we had gang problems, keep locking them up its easy cause they always carry weapons and drugs, real easy lockups even dumb ..... like that soon get smart and keep there heads down. I'd just like to say that im routing for the OTHER aussie named TROY for 2006 WSBK, or James Toseland, or Noriuki Haga. If any of those three win it, i'll be satisfied. I'd even be happy to see Lanzi ahead of Corser

I love Corser, but I don't think he'll be able to match his performance of this season next year. I think JT's in the same boat.
But the Xerox Duke boys and Haga will be the ones to watch. Personally I was fairly confident that CV would take the title next year, but he's moved one.
Speaking of which, I've been fairly busy in recent months, and I haven't really been following SBK silly season. Has CV's seat at Ten Kate been filled yet? There's a few out of work SBK riders still looking for a seat isn't there?
I'm too lazy to go researhing this stuff so if someone could quickly fill me in on whats "officially" going on and whats rumoured to happen, I'd really appreciate it

JT will be aboard the Winston Ten Kate Honda team and Muggas is still contracted to the team but there are some rumors, weak ones although, that suggest HRC will begin to baack the team if they replace Muggas with Alex Barros. I see that as very unlikely so expect JT and Muggas to be on the Winston CBR1000RRs in 2006.

Regis Laconi will be riding Kawasaki ZX-10RRs for the PSG-1 team alongside Chris Walker and Fonsi Nieto.

Ruben Xaus will be riding for Berik Borciani Ducati in 2006.

The Renegade team has pulled out of WSB after a lackluster year attempting to develop Honda CBR1000RRs with Ben Bostrom.

The obvious addition of Bayliss and Lanzi to Xerox Ducati. I think I've covered the changes, if there are any more feel free to add them in.

Thanks Oost. Good to see PSG-1 getting some more talent. I'd like to see them up there with the big budget teams like Xerox Ducati, Ten Kate and Alstare Suzuki someday.
