This seems a bit random to me. I heard he has already signed to ride in the AMA, but would he be able to get out of that if he needed to. Chaz needs to be riding 4 strokes and i think that if he impresses ilmor would be fortunate to have him on board, a young talent would do the team some good.
And does anybody know anything about who they will be employing, I assumed they would take Gary Mccoy, but he isnt even at the Jerez test, and i am not to sure about the abilities of Pitt or McWilliams.

^^agreed....very random!...I cant find anything which confirms that report from yesterdays test, all the placings show the top 10 only....unless there was only 10 riders? Weird.
I rekon we will see McCoy & Pitt................but me thinks that Dorna might give Ilmor some wonga for getting jezza on the bike next year

News emanating from Jerez suggests that veteran Ulsterman Jeremy McWilliams has sustained a broken leg after a high-speed fall whilst testing the new Ilmor X3 MotoGP 800cc racer this afternoon.
Details are sketchy at this point, but published reports indicate that McWilliams will undergo surgery as early as tonight to insert a rod in his leg to stabilise the area of the break. He also apparently has injuries to a shoulder and one of his hands.
Hate to hear this....hope he gets well soon.
