Right. In this sport one NEVER wishes anybody to crash, not even as a joke.

Hope we don't see TOO many crashes in the race tomorrow
<
, that would ruin the "spettacolo".

Rossi is on 3rd line
<
, he went off track and lose some split of seconds >.<, well let's see if he manages to get on the top and wait for an amazing race
<
, nice Stoner on getting the pole

ill be back tomoz im off before the aussie party arrives

DePunt-it-down-the-road had better keep it upright into turn 1, unless he hits Pedrosa and misses Nicky.

I don't think Rossi has much of a chance tomorrow unless people start going down. I think he'll finish 4th or 5th. The 08 'stones don't seem to like these low grip circuits. As far as I can tell, Rossi has only run M/M 08's (except at Qatar), maybe he gives the 07's a whack. It seems like he needs to Laguna, Brno, Motegi are coming up.

I think Pedro and Dovi both show up to race tomorrow despite both of them being awful in FP3.

Don't mind him too much. Look at it as a circus clown, they come out, make a fool of themselves, make the crowd laugh at him (not with him) and then the show continues. Its fun if you take it into perspective, rather entertaining I think. He's nothing like his fellow Aussies (except maybe Barry). But its all good, we need them around for the comic relief.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Babelfish @ Jun 7 2008, 05:00 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Way down on 9th. half a second off his own pole record last year and 1.1 off Stoners new record.
He changed bike with 10 min to go but improved only half a second wiht that bike.

Fantasic run by stoner. He's going to be hard to beat tomorrow.
I fully expect Rossi to be on podium tomorrow. He knows he is in title fight, he won't risk crashing but hw will risk coming up the field.

Grid spot a race not makes. Last week he had good start position then sank Colinesk. I'd rather see him start from 3rd row then finish higher than his grip spot. I'm as diehard a Nicky fan as they have here, but i'm not jumping for joy just yet. I'm rooting for a race win (that's my diehard side) but I'd be happy with a podium finish.

I think that the race will be a rossi master class, I think rossi may also be pleased with his starting position.
If he wins again from there, then that will be a soul destroyer to all the whipper snappers !
His race pace is good, and no one makes passes better than Rossi !

You guys are getting too arrogant, i think he will manage no better than distant third.

Stoner walks away with it. He and Pedrosa slice and dice for a while. Stoner leaves him for dead.
Rossi will make it a distant third.

He is just to far back to win it (Rossi)
Vermulen, Capriossi etc will not make it easy for Rossi to make it through the pack

Anyone else think that Melandri's crash was somewhat bizarre?

Take a look at the motogp.com footage - rear wheel suddenly comes off the deck after he's finished braking for the corner and is starting to tip it in. The second part of the coverage shows it from the front and I thought to myself that I've seen a few crashes that look similar over the last year or so - not really a low side, more like the bike shedding the rider as it collapses onto its side.

Not really sure what would cause the rear wheel to become unweighted like that, but then again I don't know enough about the level of active suspension they're running.

Yeah, bizarre - so was Bradley's...similar ...., I wouldn't like to speculate

He locked the front, you can see it clearly. Left a black line on the track. He may have hit a slippery bit, as the riders are complaining of a slippery track.
If you watch the onboard vids you can see that they brake deep into the corner, way past the point where you would be on the deck if trying it on a street bike.

i will i said earlier this track was dangerous for any rider, its seems tomorow is not going to be who wins but who actually finishes the race....

be prepared cos anyone can take a tumble tomorow.

its alot of laps and such a slippery track if people go for to harder compund they gonna be in the .... if the track is slippery and if they go with a to compound soft then there will be no tyre at the end of race.

i truelly believe thats this setup problem rossi was having and other riders maybe due to the track not the bike i think some of the riders that use a certain line maybe may be in for a tumble tommorow.... but i hope not fingers crossed and be prepared for tomorow, i still think casey will run away as he has been on pace most of the weekend.

looks like haydens and caseys dirt biking is paying off here it being so slippery.

Too simplistic - once the rear was off the floor and the bike was tipping into the corner the front tyre could not support the bike and folded. Of course the front left a black line as the adhesion failed - it wasn't locked IMO, though. The more interesting point is why did the rear leave the track in the first place?

The reason why he's still here is because a lot of you guys respond and reply to all his stupid inflammatory comments.
He's a total bitter loser.
He's that fat little obnoxious kid bugging the .... out of everyone looking for attention.
Stop replying to him and stop starting threads about him.
If all that bitterness was mixed with wit, humor, sarcasm or satire then it would be tolerable.
It's just mean spirited swill.
