Spanish sites report Jorge has been taken to hospital after a hard crash, he fainted after the crash and has been taken there to get a brain scan.

Lorenzo OUT of Catalunya race after practice crash:

Concussion from an afternoon fall will prevent Jorge Lorenzo´s participation in the Gran Premi Cinzano de Catalunya.

gutted now stoner has a easy ride up the ranks..........



i think they should role the 990's back out imo the 800's are more dangerous than the beast's

You need to be a paying mamber to get access to anything but the basic lap timing.
 
Hope practice isn't a reflection of race results (but it usually is). Sucks for Lorenzo. A season title usually comes from a season of attrition from competitors (thus why some people incorrectly call the champ "lucky" when this happens).

I was hoping Pedrosa would be sporting the #4, but it looks now with that Lorenzo fall that a #2 will be in the cards once again, Go Rossi (no not a fan type "Go" but rather a defacto ....-on-Pedrosa "Go").

A belter of a post Jumkie! I'm hoping that the wee ..... gets at least beaten to the number 3 by The Doctor (1st) and the Greetin faced aussie kid(2). No that I like Skippy the bush whinger boy, I just cannae stand the wee ......

But, you never know, Hopper or Scud might come good yet.....




Sorry, that last bit proves that I have had too much Merrydown tonight.

Why? When you understand what it means to win a MotoGP world title, you will find the answer to that question.

In any case, the lines Nicky Hayden uses are not handy for riding the RC212V, unlike the 211. I think the GP8 would suit Nicky much better, he can use lines that are similar to Stoners.

Nothing wrong with the michelins and the Honda....

Nicky does seem to be getting on the pace this weekend....good luck to him...
 
Redflag at the end of the session? Suddnely everyone lost 10 to 20 sec between I1 and I2 just as they were starting their first faslap with 3 min to go.
