I think this rubbish of Gibernau complaining about decreased performance of the RCV in hot weather comes from the fact that he isn't Rossi and doesn't have the support and understanding Rossi and Burgess did. I think you hit on this Rossi 46 but yeah, he doesn't have the same knowledge and understanding Rossi does and I think you see it in the direction the RCV is being developed since Rossi's departure.

great first few laps great battle for pos. 3/4/5 but Vale was just stalking gibbers just followed him round he said 3 days ago he would take the lead with 3 laps to go and he did
i want to see Vale battle for his wins but i dont think gibbers should be on that bike time to move over and let someone worthy have a descent ride
some say they are bored with Vale winning all the time well im bored with gibbers spending his last lap shaking his head and giving up on the race the man gotta getta grip any rider that shunts his team mate from behind doesnt deserve a factory ride

What a race! Too bad the coverage I saw watched the "battle" between Rossi and Gibernau for the last lap. I get so frustrated watching a gap grow when there is a three way battle for the final podium spot and we miss at least two passes. Good show from Barros and Hayden, I saw Nicky had a soft front fitted, I have to wonder if that is why his pace dropped in the latter laps. Good show all and off to Assen they go in two weeks time.
