last year at catalunya rossi stalked sete 4 nearly thre whole race, i think
<

last week he couldnt wait to hit the front so wots instore this week? if he can im going 4 a bit of the same hit the front early as possible and try and control the race and tyres,, wot u think lads and rossi rules
<
ello babes xx.

As usuall i think he will work all that out when the lights go green.

If he gets a good start- he'l do one.

If he gets a bad start- he'l be in second place by the end of the first lap and depending on who is in first he will sit there until the time is right to do one.

Obviously I'm hoping that someone can keep him from deciding when he wants to go and forces him to battle for the whole race but I don't remember the last time someone has forced Rossi to fight for an entire race. If that doesn't occur, I would really like to see him stick it to Gibbers and the Catalunyan fans and run away with the thing. I know that's boring but you've got to admit that would sure rile up the Spanish fans and absolutely break Gibernau.

Yes the Spanish fans will empty the Grandstands if that happens like they always do.

At that point I will point and laugh.

Why would you want to break Gibenau ? is the competition not boring enough for you, that Rossi should'nt have any competition ?

I grow tired of Gibernau, like I've said before I don't think he is as good of a rider as he is billed to be and it won't be long before the fog from Gresini Honda clears and we see Gibernau's true colors. I believe other riders will step up and battle with Rossi, how about the resurgence of Biaggi for example. It won't be long unti Marco Melandri and Nicky Hayden can consistantly battle for victories and Gibernau will go back to being no more than a wet weather specialist finishing 9th in the points consistantly.

FP2 from www.motogp.com (is this ok, Ben?)

1. Marco Melandri
2. Makoto Tamada (Excited yet Dr. Costa?)
3. Colin Edwards
4. Nicky Hayden
5. Loris Capirossi
6. Valentino Rossi
7. Max Biaggi
8. Troy Bayliss
9. John Hopkins
10. Alex Barros
11. Sete Gibernau
12. Shinya Nakano
13. Kenny Roberts Jr.
14. Carlos Checa
15. Roby Rolfo
16. Alex Hofmann
17. Ruben Xaus
18. ShakeyByrne
19. Toni Elias
20. James Ellisom
21. Franco Battaini

The top 7 places are within 1 second of the leader.

After FP2 Elias felt the pain in his broked wrist was too much to push any harder. David Checa will replace Elias on the Tech 3 Fortuna Yamaha for the remainder of the weekend.

Sorry Dr Costa, had to remove that as it orginated from motogp.com.

I'm looking to pulling the results off automatically from other sources....................somehow
<

Anyway.......predictions:

1. Melandri ......as long as he keeps it clean
2. Giberwotsits
3. Max

Rossi bins it somewhere mid race...........................unlikely mind, but he's due an off.

Rider to watch Tamada San

Melandri
Tamada
Bayliss ( as a shock podium)

Gibbers and Rossi in the dust

I was reading at crash.net that Gibernau is worried about the Honda in the heat. He claims that when the temperature rises the performance decreases dramatically, apparantly it happened last week in Mugello and he is fearful of it happening in the race tomorrow. If that is true the race could become very interesting with 4 Hondas in the top 5. Enjoy the race all.

ooost i read the same its funny rossi never complained about anythink like that when he was honda genius aint it... think rossi is more than just a rider he knows bikes and explains well to his crew..
