<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Electric Mofo @ Jun 25 2007, 03:35 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>People can flame me all they want and Im probably setting my self up here. But has this kind of behaviour happened in any other country in motorcycling? It happened with Kiyo, which truely made me less proud to be a brit and now its happened again. And the boo's were aimed at someone who left their home, their family and came to England to achieve their dreams and what do they get from? boo's from chavvy, yobby, drunkard, fat, sister shagging pikeys. And on the day of the late, great barry sheens last championship victory! they even had murrey walker there!

The only reason why someone would boo another rider is if they had no class, no education, no respect for the sport and how far its come in the past 10 years, no etiquette and no shame. Im not going to attack all Rossi fans because in recent weeks most have shown that they are indeed fans of the sport and not one person. But there are a few that seem to be in love with Rossi and have no regard to the fact that these riders have to race a long season, with few brakes, injuries as such. And to those type of fans I have only this to say, If you want to hurl abuse at people in a way of venting your own frustrations, GO WATCH A FOOTBALL MATCH!

i agree with you, the Kiyo situation made me very disappointed and slightly ashamed to be British. However the reception that some (not all) of the spanish fans gave Rossi in Jerez this year was far far worse than anything i saw or heard at the British GP. Its not just British, its anywhere in the world that motorcycle racing is expanding beyond the core audience and appealing to the masses. It unfortunately comes with the growth and commercialization of the sport.

i was on the floor laughing when he was saying things about rossi i felt embaresed for him, its not like hes a world champion or anything but could be soon?
stoner is riding tremendously atm

anyways looking forward to tommorows battle.

The best was last season, i think it was when rossi had lost the champsionship or it was a really important race and vale had come off and casey said "now he knows how i feel" lol , it just sounded so stupid and uncomparable!
