Why is it everyone is so harsh on Cardoso, hes on the worst bike in the paddock, but he still qualifys for a race. ?
He aint that slow is he ?
I like him. If it aint cardoso its someone else who will winge there lily white ass off!

Yeah his bike is crap, but Hoffman's bike is the same and Hoffman (who is no championship material) is beating Cardoso day in day out.

So overall he is not good enough to deserve a MotoGP ride.

He should go back to SBK.

He's better off in BSB, I don't think he'd even be good enough for a top rid eon WSB to be honest.

We all know he's only there because he's rich...

Calm down teo

Anyway, we might have been harsh to him, but basically, it's tiring to watch (watch?! I haven't even seen him! What the heck am I talking about?!
<
), someone who's just there...he's just merely there. I mean, give us some spark Cardoso!

And honestly, I'm dying for him to prove us wrong.

Realistically there probably aren't any more qualified riders riders who would be willing to take his ride. There isn't much incentive to ride around on the most underfunded team, with the worst tires on the grid and no possibility for advancement in teams because no one in road racing gives any credit to the d'Antin team. Whether they deserve it or not. I'm sure he is the best rider Luis d'Antin could have gotten for the ride, MotoGP calibur riders aren't exactly lining up to ride for ...... teams when they can be competitive in other series. If they were lining up to ride for ...... teams, Shakey Byrne, Kurtis Roberts, Neil Hodgson, Ruben Xaus and Roby Rolfo would all still be in MotoGP riding for d'Antin or WCM or some other bottom end team.

I would love to be him, getting to ride all of those tracks on a GP Ducati, the rich life style and all.

Youve said yourself hes rich before Teo, you`ve found somthing out thats changed your mind, care to share it?

I was watching this one Richo, and wondering when you'd have a dig at old Cardoso
<
I've nothing against the guy really cos I know crap all about him. He's on a very uncompetative bike so he's ...... for starters no matter who he is. Ooost made a good point about Kurtis Roberts & co. I don't care if someone is rich or not, ever.

Did I?

I don't think Teo ever said that Cardoso was rich. I remember him saying something about Cardoso and Luis d'Antin are close friends as Cardoso has ridden for d'Antin at various levels for years. Cardoso having his ride has more to do with his relationship with d'Antin than it does his money. My opinion anyways.

I remember somthing like "why would I be jealous of him, he`s rich, he gets to ride a bike in motogp and he`s got a hot girlfriend." It was a while ago, but I`m pretty sure it`s right

Could be, but I said he isn't rich because he is not bringing any major sponsor to his team, and if he were rich why the hell would he be riding .... SBKs, he could have afforded a top quality WSBK last year.

The bit about his girlfriend is true.

Cardoso usually qualifies about a second behind 18th place. Every single race Cardoso is last on the grid. Every single race Cardoso finishes last on the grid. His target should be Hoffmann, being on the same bike and all, but Hoffmann is far, far better. Cardoso simply is not good enough for MotoGP. I'm amazed there's people writing off De Puniet but saying Cardoso should get a chance. No bike is that bad that you finish a race getting lapped.

Maybe this is just me but I'd rather see Cardoso on a 19 man grid than no Cardoso with an 18 man grid. The more rider entries, the better.

why is it that the grid is shrinking so much? ... too many riders leaving or not enought talent coming up quick enough or not enough teams, manufacturers?? i thought i was imagining it but im pretty sure im right .... there used to be so many more riders

The 125cc grid is overcrowded it seems. There's talent but they're not coming up fast enough I guess.

cost & lack of sponsors.

thats why the grid has shrunk. but next season it sounds like the grid may expand a bit.

Yep it's the cost of MotoGP (much more expensive than 500cc) what kills little private teams like WCM.
