NOT HAVING ENOUGH BIKES AT THE FRONT BATTLING FOR THE WIN

Jaz, I wouldn't normally jump to Pinky's defence but his post was in response to that shown below and basically what Pinky says is right.

There are times when Pinky posts totally nonsensical crap (he is not alone there as it seems to be getting worse at the moment) and whilst this post was probably an attampt at it, there is much truth in what the post says. Before Hayden or his fans worry about Hayden beating Stoner, he needs to beat the other contenders one of which does happen to be the black Hayate (and essentially you say the same thing).

That's the kind of laugh I had from you thinking you can ..... how much traction control bikes have by looking at them from 50 feet at the track as they scream by hauling ....

Hey, now that they are running super slow motion clips on TV, I bet you can tell us more insight about the electronics they are using, eh?

Gary (with all due respect), what's your point besides stating the obvious?

Pinks already made his point to Jaz, and you felt the need to restate it? That's rather strange coming from you (among one of the most level headed members here). BTW, I highlight the parts above that have me confused. So let me get this straight, Pinks at "times" posts nonsense, and this was "probably" one of those "attempts"? Uhm, really? Using pinks as part of your cogent opinion serves you no favor my friend. How about you just restate the point without rubbishing your post with the Pinky reference? I realize he 'stands up for Stoner' (in his inept way, which is why you felt the need to "come to his defense") but really, must misery make strange bedfellows?

You lost me Jumkie.

Pinky made a statement and Jaz basically called him out on it - true.

But Jaz attacked Pinky's post as an attack on Hayden when it was a reply to Cyngus post which stated 'well it's about time for hayden to beat stoner' and was not directed at any Jazkat comments.

All I am saying is that like it or not, in this case Pinky is 100% correct and that is that Hayden (and his supporters) need to worry about beating the person infront before they get to beating his team-mate. It may not be pleasant but it is true and at this stage he didn't beat Melandri so that is/was/should be his target.

The old adage that each and every rider wants to beat their team-mate is without saying totally true but first they need to start getting the best from their machines, In Hayden's case at this stage with the exception of Laguna he has been mid-pack and he needs to beat these guys in order to get to Stoner. I personally have no doubt at all that he can and he has suffered misfortune so I do not see it as a big issue, but is it wrong to say that he must beat all others riders between him and Stoner?

You may well have read it as an attack on Hayden, my post wasn't but it was supporting the essence of Pinky's post which is basically saying that he has to beat the others to get to Stoner first.

I also chose not to comment on the 'giving up' comment of Jaz as simply put, nobody should question Hayden in that regard, it goes without saying that he is no quitter.

EDIT:
Jumkie, there are times when Pinky has posted some sensible thought provoling comments so yes, at times he posts nonsecial (maybe I should have said the majority of times so shoot me
<
). Yes his reply was probably an attempt to put .... on Hayden (probably used as we cannot know for sure, yes we can assume but cannot know for certain)

Now you lose me further with the 'stands up for Stoner' comments as personally what do you mean?

I am not aligning to Pinky because he defends Stoner (as that is the inference I read) as IMO Pinky does no service to defending Stoner in any way but brings far more harm that any relevant and/or coherent arguments.

You seem to have read far more into my post and with respects back at you I suspect it is because Hayden was the subject of the post.

Garry

you guys really amaze me.

i am sure this season hayden would be able to beat stoner. and so he should. there are no reasons why he cant or couldnt. he IS a WC after all.

but you guys much such a big deal of it. such as if hayden beats stoner then he would of accomplished everything he ever wants even better than obtaining a race win or even a world champion.

you guys reeeeeeely need to see the bigger picture

As usuall you got it wrong again. First of all I listen. I look at their position on track and then listen.
It's amazing how often you try to make some of my statements look ridiculous and you fail to even get the basic right. Shouldn't you at least get those right before you start laughing?

No, not yet, but it wouldn't surprise me if they caught an initial slide being stopped by TC with those cameras, but that would be by luck. It is absolutely amazing how they catch details of the bike and rider through those transitions. In fact if they showed several of those chicane/s-curve transitions with different riders we would never have the discussion about Pedrosa and any disadvantage he might have in those transitions. With those pictures we could clearly have seen reality, what ever reality that might be.
