<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Well i think career wise rossi stacks up as the "better" rider. But last year Hayden performed better than rossi, and anyone else, that is why he won it. So last year hayden was the better rider.
Ialso agree, jeremy could be more sporting in defeat, but the annoying this about him is that he is a straight talking ausie with loads of experience and a million and one world titles. The chances are Rossi will win this year and he will appear correct. It changes nothing though, things cannot be certain and talk like that does not impress me.
i would have put it... hayden, repsol hrc, performed more consistently than rossi, camel yamaha, thus winning the championship, remember it is a team sport and if you an hrc man the rider is only a small part of that team altho i think hrc talk ...., but you can be the best rider of all time but if the bike breaks your buggered.
i think were putting words into burgess's mouth,he didnt mention 06 season i dont think,he just said the better rider didnt win and i agree,im saying the better team won because they had the better more reliable package for 06.
