It was a bad one!! He's D Gulbrandson's friend talking to him after he was very worried about him. He had to be airlifted to hospital and is in a very bad way.

Lets hope he makes a quick and full recovery

best final lap ever, Hopper and Hill traded places six times on the final lap. Burnicle and Whitham got it right about the crowd, it was about 50/50 who the crowd were cheering for along pit straight. 'Fifty thousand' people there over the weekend, it was the busiest I have ever seen Brands for a BSB meeting, and the best atmosphere since J.T. did the double there. The Supersport races were just as nailbiting, glad Seeley won the title after a hard fought year.

Phill, thanks for helping me out in my hour of need. Looking forward to being with you trackside once again.

13 rounds, 26 races and the title is decided by 6 thousandth of a second on the last lap......Not sure what else needs to be said really. I was suitably entertained.

What a season. Unbelieavable really. The battle in Supersport between Alistair Seeley and Ben Wilson has been pretty immense all season as well. 9 wins a piece and the title goes down to the last race and Seeley wins it by a point. Those dudes have been bangin' elbows all season.

The PR department are gonna have a pretty easy time marketing BSB through the period until the start of the new season. I CAN'T WAIT !

Sorry I missed Lil Red. Had a complete disaster of a weekend. I will fill you in on the details !

I couldn't agree more Ska,

The atmosphere on the start fin straight was electric!

And the 50/50 was bang on.

It was good to see different folks from different places supporting different riders. But after the race everyone was smiling regardless of the result! Now thats just as it should be!

Congrats to Tommy Hill on a well fought championship!

Ska no probs mate, no doubt you would do the same for me should a similar incident arise.

I for one can't wait for next season, might have a shot at doing every race next year

Hey Willski

Well said man. Its the first year Ive watched BSB properly and for me its been the best series of racing this year.

I will definately be at most meetings next year. A full weekend sport with camping for under £50! You cant go wrong IMO.

Yeah got the gist of your troubles when we spoke sat night, no drama's mate I had a fantastic time, shame you couldn't get though, felt for you, missing out like that. But there's always next year

Things you never Pete would say.....I'm just gutted for Hopper, his season has been awesome, between injuries and the bike breaking down yesterday, and he loses by that margin. Sickening. I never thought I would eat as much humble pie over a rider. Get him back at world level. Shakey was absolutely awesome on the day. Legend.

The "epic finale" happened in race 2. God decided the title. God hates Hopper, I hate God.

Well, that was a ridiculously exciting close to the season, i've never seen anything like it! I guess that is how the showdown rules are justified, but i still feel pretty bad for Shakey after being the class of the field and scoring the most points if you look at things traditionally. As far as what actually happened, i think the right man won (of the two realistic candidates). Tommy has been through his dark days and put the work in, and after losing it at the last round last year it was good to see him ride with such class to get it done this time around. Obviously props to Hopper as well since the title came down to pretty much nothing, he is obviously back on his feet and climbing the ladder again, so well done to him too

Jumkie have you watched the last race?

God made things equall and the final race was the epic finale!

As much as I wanted Hopper to lift the title you CANNOT take the final result from Tommy Hill!

The last few laps of that race was an epic battle. I think the best I've seen since watching racing!

Kudos to Hopper and Big congrats to Hill.

ROLL ON NEXT SEASON!!! I'M HOOKED!!!!

if hopkins get a good gp ride i don't feel bad for him.

he has proven this season that he is one of the best riders in the world, with a great weekend at silverstone and a truly great season in a class he didn't know, against a competitive field of riders on very difficult tracks he didn't know.and all that while being always available for the suzuki motogp team, hats off to hopper

i rate his season in the same league as spies performance in 09

great to see hill win, he is a fantastic rider and it's hard not to feel happy for him considering his past seasons and how well he has ridden the past two seasons
