Who's going?

I'm gonna be there from about 6pm on the friday.

Driving a brolly dolly for one of the 1000ss riders down and looking after her for the weekend.

But got some pisshead mates, old mates from other meets coming too.

Looks like Ive dropped on some access all areas passes to have the ultimate walk around!

Fark me I can feel a good weekend coming on!

I'm not a fan of riders in particular, but Hopper is now reaping the rewards from all the setbacks he has faced (injuries, ill-advised move to Kawak). I wouldn't mind at all if he was the first American to win a BSB title. He's probably going to be offered something on a bigger stage next year.

I would not be upset one bit if Hopper wins it. I think he deserves it.

Lil Red, I should be down there for a bit of racing and a few beers. If you can't manage the brolly dolly I will gladly assist in ANY way mate. I will give you a call when I get down there !

I'm nervous even thinking about it. Man, I wish I could watch it live! Its even on FM radio? Are you ....... kidding me? Jesus, I need to move to the UK. I will probably watch it Sunday night my time when the good people post it online.

I will be disappointed if Hopper doesn't win it. I think the Cinderella story would really be great if the man gets the white slipper (we already know he has the white teeth).

Yeah I'd like to see Hopper lift it too.

But would not be dissapointed if he don't just because the racing in BSB has been phenominal to me (1st year watching) this year.

Beers allready on ice Wills

and the dolly bats for the other side, Unfortunatley

See you down there

Hey Phill hope you aren't referring to me as a pisshead, I don't drink........... much hee heee. Don't think they have those large four pint glasses at Brands?

I'll be there around midday tomorrow. Weather looks a bit cold, wet and breezy, hopefully warming up a bit late on Sunday

Jumkie, if you go to the BSB website there is a link for the radio station, which is usually on during any on track action, that's if you don't mind the old fart, Fred, waffling on all the time. http://web3.motorsportvision.co.uk/radio/bsbradio.aspx

I think this has been one of the better seasons in BSB, no one rider dominating the year like Camier/Kiyo/Lavilla did. Still undecided as to whom I would like to see lift the trophy, Hopper or 'Shakey' Byrne have been my favs for years now. The Supersport title is going down to the wire with Seeley and Wilson fighting it out all year

AND YEAH BSB RADIO IS GO FOR ALL http://web3.motorsportvision.co.uk/radio/bsbradio.aspx

Swan Yamaha celebrated the opening MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship race win of the weekend at Brands Hatch as Michael Laverty fended off the pressure from pole sitter Josh Brookes to take his third win of the season. The final podium position was secured by John Hopkins following a battle with title rival Tommy Hill.

Laverty said: "I got the start I needed and tried to get my head down. I edged maybe a second and then I saw the gap disappearing on my board and knew someone was catching me. I watched the lap timer and just tried to stay smooth and consistent. I rode a good race and it was nice to pull off the win. I knew Josh was close so I didn't leave him any room and we were so close. It is going to make it interesting for tomorrow as we are all going for it."

On the opening lap Laverty got the holeshot off the line from pole sitter Brookes as Hill dropped to sixth on the Swan Yamaha after he went wide at Surtees, whilst Michael Rutter barged his way to fourth on the Rapid Solicitors-Bathams Ducati behind Hopkins before the first lap was completed.

Laverty continued to lead Brookes, but Shane 'Shakey' Byrne was hard-charging on the HM Plant Honda and he had carved his way up to eighth by the end of the fourth lap as he closed in on Jon Kirkham as the pair swapped place several times for seventh. Byrne then had Rutter in his sights as he put his qualifying crash behind him to move up sixth on the twelfth lap.

At the front Brookes was putting the pressure on Laverty who held the lead and the battle for third was just as intense as Hill clawed back the gap that Hopkins had over the opening lap as the Swan Yamaha rider began to shadow his main title rival. Hill waited until the penultimate lap as he dived for the inside line into Paddock Hill Bend to take third, but just a few corners later Hopkins regained the position with a move into Surtees.

On the final lap Hopkins and Hill went head to head for the final podium position and a last lap move by Hill on the brakes into Clearways gave him the advantage but his Samsung Crescent Racing Suzuki rival cut back and he narrowly beat him across the line. The American now holds an eleven point lead over Hill ahead of the two races tomorrow as his Swan Yamaha team-mate moved ahead of Brookes to stand third in the overall standings.

James Ellison had his strongest race of the season for the Sorrymate.com Honda team as he joined the battle with Hopkins and Hill but ended the race fifth ahead of Byrne who fought back to sixth. Rutter and Kirkham maintained seventh and eighth respectively with Graeme Gowland again in the top ten and the victor in the Mirror.co.uk BSB Evo race as Martin Jessopp completed the top ten.

Hopper doing exactly what he needed to do. Winning races is not paramount, just finish ahead of Hill in race 1. Everyone else is eliminated now, as long as he just finishes directly behind Hill in the last 2 races, the title is his
