Bruce Anstey to miss roads season.

He battled back from cancer in the late 90's, let's hope he wins this battle too.

I'd imagine he will, he was winning Ulster Grand Prix races against BSB regulars last August. Whether he comes back as good I don't know, as I've stated this is his second battle with cancer and it does take a lot out of you, Bruce has suffered with a weakened immune system for years following his first bout with the disease and has been vulnerable to catching infections and viruses.

I know its one reason I gave up racing, just couldn't hack it anymore, the wife was pleased though :giggle:

Not racing again this year though that's understandable.

One of my all time favourite racers, frustratingly inconsistent but has the ability to be unnervingly fast even though he hardly races throughout the year.

I think it was McGuinness in his heyday said Bruce was the rider he feared the most as when he got out of bed on the right side he was pretty much untouchable.
