Damn, How many riders crashed today? And is Simoncelli trying for a record. He has thrown that bike away so many times ive lost count. Its amazing he has not been hurt.

Yes I hadn't really thought about that. Spies has pretty much outperformed Edwards at every race this year bar one or two. You realise that by suggesting that upgrades are going to Spies, you are hinting that Rossi is disadvantaged from Lorenzo. You know, sometimes I prefer to just watchi it on tv and not know anything about the behind the scenes.



I wonder how many engines Lorenzo is down to? What if he ended up starting from the back or pit lane - whatever the rule is. Pedrosa would have a much better chance of catching him. I hope it doesn't come to that.



I do give Stoner a hard time but I was genuinely impressed by the lack of flying laps he completed and to put it in the position he did.





Barrry - your comment re Rossi's dummy spit - A dummy spit is where you act like a baby or a spoit ..... Do you really think that Rossi was acting like a spoilt .... or a baby by being pissed off at himself (admittedly I couldn't see if he was crying under the tinted visor). He pushed too hard and he knew it.
 
now that was a qualifying session! lot of cobwebs from the break methinks judging by all the crashing goin on...

Lorenzo's lack of concentration on that last lap might be an indication of Mudialito fever.

That and wondering if his engine will last the race.

And Rossi's loss of focus could be a result of him working out contract details in his head

for his new team and his displeasure at the prospect of being competitive next year on the

bike that was bucking like a bronco this morning in it's attempts to keep Stoner from getting

on the front row.



It's a cinch that Stoner on the very capable Honda next year will be quite the competition for Rossi on the quirky Duc

and you know Rossi knows it too.

I guess he didn't stomp his feet or roll around on the ground kicking. But yeah that was a pretty dismal dummy spit. Somewhat more dramatic than when he crossed the line at Sachsenring. Gee imagine if someone like ..... ummm ?? ..... oh I don't know .... lets say Stoner .... carried on like that
