What are the odds on ducati forgetting how to improve haydens bike tomorow? I expect that haydens crew will figure out how to make the bike slower and stoners crew will as usual make his bike better. Then all the usual posters will come on and say hayden doesn't know how to develop his bike, that he's overrated, and all the good rides he had at the start of the season were just flukes.

Just got back and checked the times for FP1!!
WTF happened with Stoner!?
WIngs must have been on his sanitary pads! Thats the worst FP! he has had for a while.

The Fiat Yamahas did not improve their FP1 lap times in FP2... The others did. Pedro with a very low 1.57...
We are still very far from last year's pole though (Rossi's if I remember well, 1.56.low) and far enough from Lorenzo's best lap in the race, 1.56 high.
Probably the weather is not helping much.

four flying laps for stoner the entire qualifing session. And with 8:00 minutes to go he calls it a day. Looks like he is taking the rest of the year off. Shouldn't be long until the gone fishing sign comes up.
edit: My bad, he made me eat my words. But doesn't have the pace.

WADR, It's fairly evident that the bikes suck! Both of em......Hayden's crash was typical Ducati front end. Ducati has not been able to generate real grip in their bikes all season. Perhaps Stoner's insistent complaining at the end of the session was worth it. He moved up two rows in two laps. His bike had very obvious problems over the entire session. This is a repeat performance for his team......bad bike for the first 50 minutes to reasonable lap times in the last 10. These problems belong to Ducati and have effected both sides of the garage.
What a session!!
Pedrosa will be very hard to beat here because even if anyone's ahead of him, he's got the last split sewed up.
Lorenzo with a dummy spit - it was a bit strange, Pedrosa sat up for a second and pushed Lorenzo out. I thought I saw a shadow flying away like he was baulked by a bird but who knows.
For all the smoke that Stoner blows, he got out there with a bike that wasn't doing the right things and put in a great lap.
Spies was sensational. He showed that if he was on the right equipment, he would be a contender.
Rossi - some raw emotion showed there after his crash. I don't think I've ever seen him that filthy at himself.
Bring on the race.

a lot of Crashes and we had a good picture of them all.
Spies did a great job. but with the starts of Danni, he should be a few seconds ahead after the first lap and the 3 remaining aliens have a bit to do before they can race him. This could become a nice race.

I (and others here no doubt) couldn't help wondering if Yamaha might be slipping the Pie Man a few upgrades
that would have gone to Rossi - were he still on the bill for 2011. Tho it should be said that Edwards looked
much improved for a few minutes there as well - so it could just be that Tech 3 has had luck refining what they
already have. Upgrades or not - Spies looked phenomenal this morning and at this point has put paid to any
further comparisons to his rookie year and that of Toesland.
Hayden just kind of looked dumbstruck this morning. And Stoner - was amazing when you consider how little
track time he had and how badly the bike was handling.
